Who We Are
Amy Kim founded KindTail with one mission:
We reinvent pet living one design at a time.
As a lover of dogs since childhood, the inspiration for KindTail came from simply looking for a beautiful home for her dog, Monkey. As she searched for the perfect home for her fur baby, Amy continued to grow frustrated with the lack of options.
An industrial designer since 2005, Amy chose to create the answer she was seeking and KindTail became a reality. Three years later its first product, PAWD, was in production and Monkey (and many more pets) finally had the home Amy envisioned!

Really perfect for travel
I am flying to Hawaii and have an over night layover. This is really a great product but possibly too small. I have 3 mini dachshunds. The food bowl inside gives me a little pause tho itâs probably fine. They donât eat much. For a big dog it would prob be too small for an overnight. Iâm not sure tho as I have minis. It is really convenient tho.

Absolutely love!
A little on the pricey side, but absolutely love these bowls. It fit exactly what I needed for my cat to have a meal when I take her to work on a long shift (she’s disabled, can’t leave home). It’s extremely sturdy plastic, I expect it to last a long time. I accidentally dropped it in the parkinglot and all it got was a tiny scratch. Really it fell so hard I expected something to break! Great for prepping medicine with a meal ahead of time. Seal is a little rubber ring, also seems like a tight seal. I haven’t run it in the dishwasher, mine tends to ruin cups with rubber seals, but the rubber ring is removable if you wanted to use the dishwasher. I traveled for a dinner/ breakfast and packed her food into two separate baggies which also fit in the container well. Do watch your fingers twisting the lid shut, because I did get pinched once but I think it’s just a good sealing lid. The small bowl nestles into the lid to elevate it slightly. Overall I would buy it again because it fit our travel needs perfectly, being able to keep her food and medicine upright instead of sideways. Roll of tape for size reference.

Perfect travel food carrier
We try to bring our dogs with us as much as possible. When leaving for a day trip to the in-laws we always bring this along. Unscrew the top and thereâs food. Take the food bowl and thereâs your water bowl. Perfect! Materials feel quite heavy and good. A bit pricey but very nice. Stored about 2 cups full of small kibble.

This bowl set works well for the 4 days a week I take my dog with me to work. Itâs convenient that they nest inside into just one thing to hold. The part that could be better is the silicone seal inside the larger bowl, that helps the seal when the lid is on. That silicone seal comes completely off/out EVERY time I even touch the bowl, clean the bowl, use the bowl, look at the bowl. Then I have to take the time to fit it back inside the groove. Itâs annoying. Besides that, I do really like the set.

Lunch on the run!
My chihuahua knows whatâs coming every time he sees this bowl come out. Itâs nicely compact and convenient. We do a lot of day trips to grandmaâs and this is the solution to making sure meal time happens on time.Aesthetically, I love the color and the size. It fits nicely into my bag.

Dang, wanted to love this!
This was a great idea and seemed like it would be a great travel solution for our dog. However, we used it over a three week travel period and encountered three issues, and ultimately decided to return. (1) The lid was difficult to screw back in place, both due to the threading and the lid size is almost as wide as my whole hand (5â2â female; although my husband who is 6â4â had trouble too). Most of the time we had to forcefully push it down. (2) The silicone on the top thatâs meant to prevent the bowl from sliding when in use didnât actually keep the bowl from moving around. (3) The handle is very thin and it didnât feel it was robust enough given the rest of the productâs make. I wanted to use it for torque to twist the lid on/off but was afraid it would snap. ð¬ Overall I was bummed because it was a great solution otherwise!
