Perfect once you figure out how to secure
Love this for my big 75lb Boxer. I did have to sort of make some mounting changes in order for it to be secure and effective, plus leave room for 1 person riding in back seat. Keeps dog hair confined, allows him to stick his head partially out of the window, easy to clean, love the removable bottom cushion to use as an indoor or outdoor bed (camping), easy to wash the bed part, and easy to use a hand held vacuum cleaner for any hair or slobber. I would give it a 4.5, but only because I had to wrap the top anchors to my rear headrests. Seat belts for your dog are easy to tighten or loosen. Dogs stay in place, loving their car seat. Perfect for leather interior (no scratches or punctures from lone nails. If cloth seats, vacuum. If leather, simply vacuum and/or wipe down with a lysol wipe, dust rag, and leather treatment for all of your seats!

I use this for two 12lb toy poodles. While in the house, they love to play in it and use it as their bed; they no longer use the other. It also serves as the car seat. Getting our money’s worth. It has excellent construction and is well-made; they love the high sides for playing and sitting in the back of the car.
