The materials are a bit lighter duty than I would prefer to see, but it’s okay in the one instance at least as this is for a little 5 lb. chihuahua that I’m dog-sitting/boarding for a few months and I don’t think she’ll see it any different than the soft-side crate she’s been sleeping in. It is just a bedroom for her mainly, one she can take with her when it’s time. As a playpen per-se, I’m not so sure it would survive some serious puppy-mania rough-housing if a pair or group were in it being normal puppies. The graphics are hideous but that’s of zero relevance – just my artist side getting an input too. I don’t usually crate train my own dogs, when they travel with me, they ride in the back seat, not to mention they’re both BIG dogs, too big for any reasonable crate I’ve seen. Anyway, this might ‘stand-in’ for a crate in some instances, although it doesn’t have the durability of one. Our little guest Nala went right into it no problem, so we’re calling this a success for certain.
