Huge everything including hardware and no keeper but amazing customer service
UPDATE:. The owner of the company reached out to me almost immediately after my original review to discuss my dissatisfaction and offer a solution. I was not expecting anything out of this, I was just sharing my experience. So having them take time out of their day to try and make things right was truly refreshing in this day and age where most of the time you feel like a number rather than a person. I have amended my original 3 star review to 5 stars for their exceptional customer service. It was a very classy way to conduct business. Not only did it make me feel heard but it shows integrity and compassion.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love the softness of the leather and it’s well constructed. But the sizing is not medium small dog friendly. I have a small dog with a 13″ neck. Apparently this means the width is at least an inch and the hardware is thick and clunky. The D ring for a tag is so thick there is no way to attach a name tag with a split ring. You can only use an S clamp which I do not like on a small dog (easily snags things and hangs too low). And the width is so overbearing on a small dog it looks ridiculous and is cumbersome to movement. In addition, this company is one that does not overlap sizes so if your dog’s neck fits in between sizes you either have no extra or 12 inches of extra. I was ok with a lot extra but there is no keeper to keep it tidy. Instead I have a 12 inch flap flopping around. I think these will be fine for big dogs but for medium small, they just don’t work. If your dog is less than 10″, that size does come in 1/2 inch width and smaller hardware. I have one for one of my other dogs and it works well. Overall, would not recommend for dogs with around 13″ neck.

Real soft leather – tight fit though
It was a toss-up to get the large or the medium. I went for the medium for my “just about” 50-pound Texas Heeler. He’s right at the apex of a “medium” but on the bottom of the “large” scale of dog. I was a tight fit, but it worked! Got the clangor into the first hole!The leather is soft and supple, and the black color blends with Ozzie’s fur very nicely. It has a nice, sturdy round to attach the license to.If there was a “medium-large” size – just a couple of inches longer – I’d have opted for that.

Amazing collar. Cheap hardwear
Initially thus collar looks amazing. It is thick leather, looks nice has rivets. And then we digress. Hardwear is terrible. Thinking, cheap. I am not sure it will hold up with my dog who has a strong pull. The hard wear reminds me of the gumball machine rings that you push sides telogether to fit your finger. I am so disappointed because this is a great product. Why go cheap when the rest of your product is good quality. Please fix this!

Best collar for your dog!
I shopped at a few pet stores around town to try and find just a basic leather dog collar. It was frustrating because they had all different collars with fancy clasps and other bells and whistles that weren’t worth the money. This collar solves the problem without any silly extras. The leather is a good width, a good thickness and the hardware on it is high quality. You won’t go wrong with this.

Great Quality
Iâm very impressed with the quality of this collar, especially for the price. I bought this for my Golden Retriever (85-90lbs, 19.5 inch neck, size x-large) after he started losing around his collar area, while wearing his nylon collar. When I looked into it, I read that leather collars can be much less irritating on their skin. I didnât expect a significant improvement, just by switching his collar, but it made a huge difference for us. Heâs been wearing this collar a little over a month, & it not only has there been no further hair loss, his fur has almost completely thickened back up, even while wearing this collar. My anecdotal experience now is that a leather collar can make a significant difference if your dog is losing fur due to collar irritation.This collar itself is great quality & real leather. Itâs durable, simple, & sleek. The sizing is spot on. Itâs so much nicer than some leather collars Iâve seen in stores, & at a much better price. I will definitely be buying another for my other dog.

Perfect for small dog
I have tried numerous collars and this is the most perfect. It fits her small neck and still has room to grow as she is 4 months old. The leather is very nice.
