Retractable And Reinforced
We needed something to keep our toddler and our dog out of the kitchen while I was cooking. It becomes a safety concern once they are big enough to walk and get into cabinets and under the sink.What I like about this gate is it was easy for me to install. It was a straightforward no hassle gate install. Completed in 30 minutes or less. I have many under my belt having 5 children but some can be a real pain or missing pieces. But even if it is your first time installing a gate it will go smoothly because the instructions were clear and all the necessary hardware was included.The gate is sturdy and feels well made and the mesh is very strong as well. My dog has tried to push past it a few times, but it has not budged. Even my toddler, who is a little climber, has not been able to get over it.I like that it retracts completely out of the way when I do not need it. It is great for doorways or hallways where a traditional gate would be in the way.It is a good height at 28 inches tall, it is just right for containing both my toddler and my small dog. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of opening and closing it with one hand. It is not a big deal, but it can be a little awkward when I am holding something.I am happy with my purchase of this gate overall and I would recommend it to anyone with small children or pets. It is a good value for the price and it has been very helpful in our house.

Upon receiving the gate for the first time, I was immediately struck by its contemporary and uncluttered design. The gray mesh material is not only long-lasting but also fashionable, and it coordinates very well with the design of our house. In addition to having robust support rods that give it a solid feel when it is mounted, the gate has a substantial and well-made appearance. When compared to conventional metal gates, the retractable function is far less invasive and saves a significant amount of room. I believe that this gate is a wonderful option for anybody who is looking for something that may be integrated into their living environment without becoming an eyesore. A comprehensive set of instructions is included with the gate, which I followed very carefully. Having said that, I did discover that it needed a little bit of time to get the support rods in the proper alignment. Making certain that the gate is both safe and level is of the utmost importance, particularly if you are putting it at the head of a stairway or in an area that receives a lot of foot traffic. I believe that the support rods are an excellent feature since they provide additional stability; nevertheless, during the installation process, they do demand a little bit of patience.

I recently put this gate up on my deck to keep my dogs contained during squirrel hunting lol My dogs are 45 and 55 lb. This particular gate I felt was of high quality. Sturdy, and attractive. I’ve had it for about 3 months now. Just recently bought another one for my boat dock. I thought the price was reasonable for the quality for sure! It’s not real tall which is fine because it fits the handrails of my deck. Air can still flow through it but it’s blacked out so it looks classy. I installed it for outside of course. It has a locked position so that if you have a dog or a toddler that pushes into it it stable. Great buy!

Houdini weenie dog
Love the gate and how it functions, but even when mounted as low as at can go, Iâve got one Houdini weenie dog (small forIts breed) that can somehow get under. It does come with suction cups for the floor to help prevent this but they just donât really work well with mine.
