This gate is the perfect height to step over which is why I got it. It’s very sturdy and I use it in an unconventional way … to keep my DOG out of my guest room because she sheds a lot and some of my visitors have allergies, and of course, the guest room is her favorite “chill room.”

Very good quality gate! We got a new puppy and have cats that could not jump over higher gate. We got this one and itâs perfect for the cats to jump over and to keep the puppy where he belongs.

Easy to Install and Use – Perfect Safety Gate for My Dog
Good quality Retractable Baby Gate by Bingguz. I installed this gate at the top of the stairs on my outdoor patio so my dog doesnât take himself on a walk around the neighborhood without my knowledge. The 39â width is perfect for the top of a stairwell and the 24â height is easy to step over but keeps my Chihuahua contained. The gate anchors and hooks are easy to install and the retractable gate can be removed with the push of a button. Itâs very easy to remove and reattach the retractable gate so you donât have to leave it up all the time. This gate is easy to use and it protects my small dog from getting out unsupervised. A++

Low profile gate for childproofing
We have an open pantry which obviously became our toddler’s favorite place to wreak havoc. I was hesitant to install a baby gate because I need in and out of the pantry constantly (the microwave and other appliances also live there). This gate has been perfect for keeping baby girl out of the space, but allowing me easy (enough) access by simply stepping over. I am 5’5 and can get over without hassle. During nap/bedtime, I can quickly and easily temporarily retract the gate. My only tiny complaint is that there is a small spot where the coating has come off the mesh, making it look like there is something white on the gate. Not really a big deal, but just wish it would have been on the other side or somewhere not on the portion that’s always visible to us.

Nice and sturdy
Nice and sturdy. Very easy to install just need to make sure the measure is correct on the wall that you are going to install. I like the color that match our wall paint.

quite short indeed
This gate is very short but it stops my dogs from going into the kitchen. It’s easy to step over but they aren’t able to jump over it so that’s a win win. It latches fairly easily yet I think they could’ve made it easier and being so short you do have to bend down to use it. It looks nice and is built well enough yet I wouldn’t ever consider using it outside.
