Perfect!
We needed gates to keep our dogs off new carpet/furniture and have wide doorways. This gate fits perfectly, and is a great height, so our large dog canât jump. They were simple to install, and are very sturdy. The opening and closing works great! Keeps our dogs where we want them.

So Easy To Install!
We installed ours using the pressure method, instead of the optional permanent method that requires drilling holes in the frame of your opening. Our pressure installation resulted in a tight fit that withstands the force of our 75 pound German Sheppard. Needless to say, it will stop a child’s attempts to get past past the gate…lol. The unit looks great, too. The gate swings open both ways, and locks in the fully open position. There are also plastic footers for the bottom of the unit to protect your carpet or wood flooring under the unit. One unpacking suggestion… The gate portion has a nylon tie holding the gate even with the frame. DO NOT remove this nylon tie before basic installation is complete, when you’re ready to operate the gate. There is a gap between the gate and frame. This is normal until you tighten each pressure screw. Tightening will completely reduce this gap so you can remove the nylon tie and operate the gate normally.

Looks nice, but the min size is 24.25″ not 24.1, and handle is what you call, “absolute garbage”
Pros:* Nice aesthetics.* One of the few narrow tension mounted walk through gates on Amz.Cons:* The minimum size is not 24.1″, but rather 24.25″, which should be fine for most people, but I needed the super rare 24.1″ width that this product claimed. I made do anyway by positioning it in a less desirable area, so not too big of a deal.* The push/button handle immediately, not after a week or day or 2nd time, but immediately fell apart into pieces as soon as I tested opening the door. The gate is otherwise solid, not $60-70 solid, but solid enough for me. To design such an incredible flimsy-cheap-charlie POC handle is an engineering marvel, IMO.* Also, it’s worth pointing out that all of the corner/braces/bridge pieces that connect the various metal parts together, are made out of plastic. Having the parts that bear the most load, made from plastic might lead to further design-to-fail situations down the road.I wanted to believe this gate was decent, despite the negative reviews about the handle. Moving forward.Enjoy!

Loved it but
Cons: the latch arrived broken. It took a long time to fix it at home. You’ll need a flash light and a lot of patience!Pros: it fits a very large space and is still very sturdy and secure. Very tall for a gate. Looks very nice. Would repurchase.

Tall and narrow â¦yes!!!!!
This has been the one of the best things I have bought. Great quality, looks nice, and easy to install. Plus, I have Sammy, the dog that has climbed over everything Iâve ever used to block a hallway. Heâs quite impressive. Lol. So when I saw a tall and narrow gate, I felt hopeful. The combination of tall + just vertical bars (no criss cross stuff) + narrow is what I needed. Well, as soon as he approached the new gate, he realized his life as he once knew it was over. Ha! He has never even tried to get out of the room. Sorry, Sammy. Hee hee (Note: My dogs are with me all day long but when I occasionally go out, I keep them in one area.)Edit: As someone else mentioned, the gate does not come with wall protectors. I was aware of this when I bought the gate so I also bought Wall Nanny Mini set of 4 in white, also on Amazon.

Perfect height
Love the height, sturdiness and features on this gate. The gate itself swings either way so itâs perfect for us. Our dog trainer suggested a gate to train our dogs to coexist with a new large puppy. Itâs tall enough for none of them to jump over and the dogs can socialize at the gate without much physical contact. It honestly has been a lifesaver. Being able to open the gate either way is so convenient depending on where the dogs are so we can also use it to block them when we have to walk through. Looks great in our house and it definitely serves more purpose to us than we thought. Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing considering we have a gate smack dab in the middle of the house now. Great purchase and great price!

This gate is fantastic! Very sturdy and not easily opened by our dogs. The height is great too. Would recommend for taller dogs like Great Danes.

Turning the thumbwheels by hand to extend the wall bumpers was easy to do without the need for any tools. Latch seems good quality and design. Gate stays open by itself when opened 90 deg in either direction. Comes with footstep/ramp device so you dont trip over the bottom bar. Def would buy again.
