Missing part
The package is missing one of the hooks. Trying to get the missing hook shouldn’t require returning the package.

Does the trick
This product is very simple and easy to put up. Works best on flat casings otherwise you need to get a little tricky, but for the most part, the price is right and it does the trick. Now if you have a rough dog or a jumper then you may need something a little sturdier. But for my doodle, this works.

A little stiff, but work as intended
We bought a couple of these to keep our senior dog from constantly following us up and down the stairs when weâre getting ready in the morning or running around the house cleaning. She slips around a bit and we wanted to keep her one on floor of the house at a time. Sheâs not a very curious or destructive dog, so I canât speak to the durability if you have a chewer or really motivated dog. We like that they are lightweight and removable. We roll them up to the side and hook them when not in use and I wish they were just a little easier to roll up tighter to stay out of the way when we do that. Otherwise, a good purchase for a respectful dog who just needs help staying safely off slippery stairs unaccompanied.

Just get a baby gate
First I will mention the damage to my walla. The attachments took off the paint and outer layer of sheet rock. This was from me taking it down, after I decided it was a waste of money. The reason it was being taken down was because my 14 pound puppy could just wiggle under it, so it was pointless. I would suggest a baby gate or something more sturdy. This was a great idea, but it was not ideal for my puppy… or my walls.

I really had high hopes for this. But it was very flimsy and the plastic hooks broke within 1 week of use. I have had other types in the past that have held up very well, but I went for the cheapest price this time and…
