Perfect for my purpose
Even though its suggested use is for pets only, I purchased this not as a ramp for my pet but as a ramp to get in and out of my van instead of having to balance on a narrow running board. I use it doubled-up instead of extending it which helps maintain its rigidity. I also place a support piece underneath in the middle to enhance its sturdiness. Works perfectly!

easy to setup and break down
This has been a game changer for my senior pets. Now they can walk right into my truck without struggling. It can be difficult to set up if your pet is with you. I have found ways to make it work.

I finally found one that fits & Molly canât break!
Works perfectly for our miniature Dachshund houndâs. Ease to use and set up. Gives them grip to walk up & down. They canât climb stairs anymore and the door is pretty high from the landing, theyâre able to get in and out of the house on their own. I love that itâs adjustable if I ever need to move it to another area. Strong enough to support our larger dog that uses it also. She has broken two wood ramps. Not to heavy to lift and put in place, & stay there without moving.

Awesome pet ramp!
It took a few weeks to teach my old dog a new trick, but once he started using the ramp to get in and out of my car, it was life changing for both of us! My lab is 80 pounds and this ramp is super sturdy. The slightly gritty surface prevents him from slipping and helps him feel secure as he walks up and down the ramp.

Nonskid paper on ramp is already tearing only took half a day!
The nonskid paper on this ramp is not going to hold up for our 3 dogs for getting in and out our camper. Very disappointed and not worth the money ðTRIED CONTACTING SELLER THROUGH VIRTUAL ASSISTANT AND HAD NO RESPONSE. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. LOOK AT THOSE PICKS I POSTED!

Best pet ramp around
Got this when my dachshund injured his back to help make getting from the front porch down to the yard easier. Very sturdy, has stood up to the elements very well, would buy again.

My 16 yr-old dog is having a lot of trouble with stairs – weak hind legs and arthritis. But there is nowhere in the house that doesnât entail stairs to get outside. A long flight down to the garage level to get out for our walks, is the biggest problem. I bought 2 ramps in order to set up a double ramp system with a landing in between.MacGyverâd the system using the 2 ramps, a Canadian tire plastic shelving unit and some yoga mats for more comfortable, better traction than the existing sandpaper surface.Havenât had time to get the really old girl working with it yet, but the ânot quite as oldâ dog is up and down it like a champ. These are solid, donât flex or bounce when the dogs are on them, wide enough to let them get stable footing. The traction surface is good, but at the more steep inclines (like I need, given the space Iâm working in) they will still slide, especially if they are nervous and try to grip with their nails, like my old girl. Hence I added yoga mats for better traction and comfort.I think my only nits to pick, is the sandpaper surface (a softer, neoprene or rubber surface would be better) and it could have better grip at the top. There are just 2 rubber feet and that is all. Perhaps a rubber ribbed under surface at that top lip might make it a bit more secure. I have the bottom edges propped so they canât slide down; though it isnât likely to happen, the last thing I need is for my old scaredy dog to have a ramp shift underneath her.But these 2 nits arenât enough to lose more than a half star, so Iâd give them 4-1/2 stars. Bought a 3rd for the truck and the trailer.

The ramp is a perfect size to fit into a car trunk. It is solid enough for my 65 lb dog to walk on.However, the thin piece of “sandpaper” surface glued to the topside is too slippery for my dog to walk on uphill. I had to place a piece of carpet ontop for the ramp to be useable. If this product had a better gripping surface I would have given a 5 star rating.

Our mini dachshund had spinal surgery a month ago and she needed help to get outside rather than me carry her all the time. The first ones we got were very well used with the return label left inside, so obviously it wasn’t checked. But customer service was really great at sending out a replacement. While we were waiting for her replacement, I left the other ones in the house so she would get used to them. I like that I can make the incline very shallow because you can pull it out to whenever you need it. They seem very sturdy. The gritty tape is very good except a slug got on it and left goo, and it’s very hard to clean:-) and now she smells it whenever she walks by it. But overall a very good choice of ramp, even if the tape comes off and we have to replace it, the functionality and sturdiness is worth it.

Easy to use for our lab. Lightweight but sturdy. Telescopes for quick storage in the back of the truck. The dog didnât hesitate to climb up.
