Great for kittens!
Thereâs a feral farm cat weâve been feeding who turned out to be pregnant and had five kittens! This whelping box has been great for her and the babies. We were able to stick a small insulated cat house inside, while covering the bottom of the box with towels, so she can lay down outside if she wants to. This has been such a great, functional, sturdy piece, thatâs also a great value for the money. Itâs easy to clean and easy to set up and put away. Iâm so glad I found this product, as itâs made taking care of the sweet mama and her babies so much easier!

Balapet Whelping box
The box was a great size for our 9 Blue Heeler puppies and mama. Everything was great about the box for the first 4 weeks. Then they decided to keep climbing out of the box.

Not sturdy and needs washable insert
We recently fostered two small puppies. We got this BALAPET Whelping Box for Dogs and Puppies to contain the puppies in one safe place. It did not work. These 5 pound puppies were able to collapse the sides and break out each time they were placed into this box. The sides are just too flimsy.I understand that this is supposed to be easy to fold and transport, but that translates into no stiff structure for the bottom of the box. I think something that is firm on the bottom and can support the sides of the box would help with the stability. Also, this is not easily wiped down. Even with the pee pads, the puppies made a mess inside this box to the point where it had to be disposed of. I do not recommend.
