Get this!!
Wow, bought a while ago, easy to store (even in car), just had to use it and SO glad I had it. 85 lb dog just had 2 masses removed, 1 on the lower back and the other in her paw pads. Usually help her into car/SUV BUT, with the stitches in her back, was worried about the stretching of her getting into car and also the extra weight on her stitched paw as she was getting in. Was impressed with how light the stairs are and VERY impressed with how easy it was to set up and take down (basically 1 hand while the other held the dog leash either before getting back into car or putting stairs back in car at Vet’s). It easily stretched into a comfortable stairs width and the non slip grip even worked with her paw in the bag the Vet gives to keep it covered. It easily supported her weight and didn’t bounce, move or slide. She was very secure in using them and after the first time, quickly and easily moved up and down them. The stairs collapse into a square box and when I saw another (and heavier) dog struggling to get out of a regular car while we were waiting at Vet’s, was able to set it down on the ground for that dog to use as a step to get out of the car door which it did. Even if you think you don’t need it, think emergency and how you’re going to get the dog in and out of the car if you can’t/shouldn’t lift them up due to stitches etc. Will get another and might even become a new dog gift to a friend or christmas gift to other dogs etc. It can even be used for pick up trucks beds for ease of access.

Best sturdy steps for a large dog!
Been looking for a product like this for months.Previously was using a ramp and that was causing a lot of problems.These steps are perfect, they are great for my large 69 lbs dog that has back issues.I can easily position them for her so she can get into the back of the car so that she has no issues climbing up, doesnât trip as she tries to get in. She tends to zig-zag, and she has never had an issue with these. Easy getting in and out.They are fairly lightweight given the product, fold extremely well and donât take up a lot of space.Recommend to anyone with dogs, and especially those with medium/large dogs! Itâs so hard finding products that work well, but this is definitely a winner!

A game-changer
This is a superior product, in every possible way. My dog immediately felt comfortable descending on these stairs. These stairs unfold almost effortlessly, and pop out as if by magic. The 2 handles fit right up against the rear compartment of the SUV. The stairs are so stable and secure –and easy on the joints–that my dog no longer hesitates at all. She lets me know that she definitely does NOT want to jump out of the SUV, and would rather use the stairs. My dog started to have issues jumping out of the vehicle about 4 months ago. I suspected a sprained wrist, although we never did get a final diagnosis. Initially, I purchased a ramp which was functional, but she never really got used to using it. It was a bit narrow, and the angle required her to brace with her feet when going down. She often decided to jump when halfway down the ramp, which defeated the purpose, after all. To make matters worse, the ramp was heavy and difficult to unfold. When folded, the metal edges scratched up the back of my SUV. The stairs, on the other hand, are lightweight. They fit inside the a cloth bag, which is included, and so they won’t scratch up your car’s interior.

Finally a GOOD ramp
We’ve tried ramps and steps before and our rather large Golden (120 lbs) would NOT use them. He has since had some surgery and it is imperative that he use something to aid in accessing the back of our SUV. This one does the trick. It is extra wide, like our boy Gus, with non slip treads. It mounts easily to the back of the car with a hook for safety should the unit get moved, preventing the steps from falling completely. Great product. Lightweight and it comes with a handy carrying tote. If I may offer a tip, we use a leash to guide our guy up the steps for safety. This also prevents him from bounding up too forcefully and shaking the steps. They are sturdy, but best to take the safe approach.

Lightweight and Sturdy
These steps are going to be a life saver for my dogs. I have two Golden Retrievers and transport them to training practice and other activities several times a week. These steps are sturdy, well made, and lightweight. They are easy to assemble and also to collapse and store in my SUV. One of my dogs took to the steps immediately. The other dog required some coaxing with tasty treats to go up the first time. But by the second ascent he was an old pro and walked right up. I highly recommend these steps. They can be used at the normal 90 degree angle or extended to make the steps a little deeper and not quite so high, or on a sloping surface. I have a 2024 Toyota Highlander that is 30″ from ground level to car floor and these steps worked quite well. It also has a handy carrying strap for easy transport.

I have a large, stocky English Labrador who could not jump into my Ford F-350. I was also concerned about the impact on her joints jumping out of the truck. These steps were the PERFECT solution. I can spread the steps pretty much one handed, very lightweight but also very sturdy. My lab is 75 lbs. The steps rest on the step area of the back seat, has a strap to secure steps, and are not steep. My lab easily goes up and down. I also like that the steps fold up to a nice compact size. I have a dog ramp which I could not use because the angle made it impossible to use for a truck backseat area. I highly recommend this product for a lifted Ford truck.
