Perfect for small dogs
I have a 25 lb dog that we bought so many bumpers and other products because he gets out of my fence. This product is the only one that is durable and he actually canât destroy it. I have a 25-35 on mini poodle and ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend this product

Great concept, and it works, but…
I recently adopted a dog that i disco ered can squeeze through our picket fence. I tried the wooden-spoon-on-thr-harness trick, but the spoon spun. Thank goodness I found this nifty harness!It’s very well made – in fact, it’s very much the same quality as those “tactical” harnesses that are so popular now. The perpendicular wooden bone seems to be bolted to the back and, whilst it does turn a little, it still seems to keep my new little buddy from getting through the fence.A couple of points, though:- The bone is a little on the heavy side. If *I* notice it, what about my lil’ 12 lb pup?- The clips on each side are VERY hard to squeeze to unclip. I thought it was just me, but when my bf tried, even he commented it was difficult.- My other dog now thinks his new friend is a walking chew toy! Whenever I put the harness on [the new pup], he chases him around and chews on the ends of the bone! Because it’s made of wood, the ends got frayed within seconds. We are trying to think of what to put on the ends to prevent it getting chewed or keep them from breaking.All in all, a great concept and well-made. But, I wouldn’t recommend for someone with weak hands, older person, etc. And, it would be nice if the bone was made from a chew/break-resistant material.11/9/24 UPDATE:Well, it made it to 2 WEEKS and then broke. We weren’t fans of the clips because they were so hard to undo, but hoped they would get easier with use — which they did not. But, that’s not an issue anymore – at least for one side – because it cracked and broke.The last 2 photos shows the broken clip. The white wire in the photo is a twist ties we used to secure that side because we still had to let our pup outside.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

The bone/stick doesn’t stay perfectly horizontal, no matter how snug the harness is. It ends up leaning to one side, at an angle, like /. Makes it so your dog could possibly still slip through the fence. The bone/stick is only held in place by a very small attachment in the center of the harness (maybe the size of a large pea) so this allows easy movement.

So simple but by golly it works!
The harness is very well made. I got a medium for my 12 pound pup and after tightening – it fits great and very secure. He is even naps in the sunshine with it on. I have been fighting with our Harry Houdini for years. We have tried everything to reinforce the fence and block our escape artist from visiting our neighbors. The whole block knows him and brings him home but we were getting desperate and were going to have to make wire run for him. But this simple but effective deterrent is perfect.

Has been a life saver!
My puppy was getting through the fence on a daily basis. She is very small so she fits right through our fence. We would find her outside in our neighbors yard in the front yard all the time she would fight us to come back. This has been literally a lifesaver. The value of money is well worth it. Itâs very comfortable for my dog and it allows her to stay in our backyard without going into our neighbors or in the front. I no longer have the fear and anxiety of her getting out I can finally let the dogs out And not have to stand and run after my puppy great product. I highly recommend, especially for puppies!!!
