Awesome!
I buy these collars for all my dogs and puppies. They donât allow them to pull out of them while learning to walk on the leash. Iâve used dozens (large breed dog breeder) and have never had one malfunction. We recently drove on a 30-hour round trip to deliver a puppy up north (from Texas to Michigan) and this is the collar the puppy wore on the whole trip. At the time, she was still learning leash walking, and this made the process so smooth. Very good quality, good training effectiveness without scaring her, looks great, good lock feature, fits well and as sized in the description.

Definitely recommend
I’ve bought several of these over the past few years and they have been fantastic. They fit and hold up very well. We do rescue go to through collars.

I love the quick release buckle
I purchased this collar because my 15 month old yellow lab had recently gotten her martingale collar stuck in her mouth. I was unable to get it out because it had tightened in the process and I had to cut the collar off with scissors. I love that this collar has a quick release buckle in case we ever find ourselves in that situation again. I’ve been using this collar for about 3 weeks and have no complaints. It’s sturdy and seems comfortable. It does run a tad large but I’m overall very pleased with this purchase.

Wonderful for keeping my pooch Ivory from slipping out of her collar
This collar has been a wonderful thing with my pooch Ivory. She is a black belt at slipping her regular collar when she sees another dog that she wants to get at (well, she acts like she does by pulling hard and growling, but she’s actually really timid…but other people don’t realize that). She pulls the leash taught, then quickly backs up and spins around. I’m pretty good at letting the leash out a bit when she backs up so that she can’t slip the collar off, but then she springs forward each time – slowly making her way towards the other dog. I think that makes other people think that I can’t control her. This collar, on the other hand, doesn’t let her do that at all. She tries the same trick, but she can’t slip out. As a result, I can hold her back a lot easier. So, I’m more calm…helping the other people be more calm…which ultimately helps Ivory be more calm. It’s worked out great.Build quality is really good. The strap is heavyweight and sturdy, the loop for the leash is thick and strong, and the plastic buckle is also strong. Her other collar has a similar buckle, and I love how easy it is to get them on and off of her (she doesn’t wear a collar in the house).I ordered the recommended size, and it fits great. I highly recommend this collar.

Size measurement not accurate
I bought this collar in a size large a few months ago and even though it ran a little big it did work ok for my golden retriever who eventually used it as a chew toy, thus the need to replace. When I received the replacement in the same size it seemed too large for her and easily slipped off her neck in the tightest position. I remeasured and her neck is 16 inches. The large collar is suppose to be adjustable from 13″ to 20″ so it should fit my dog. When I adjusted the collar to the shortest length possible and measured from end to end it measures 20 inches which is too large. It is not possible to adjust this collar any more to fit a neck that is less than 20 inches. I have now ordered the medium hoping it too runs large because it’s maximum length is stated to be 15 inches which would be too tight for my dog. Otherwise this is a very nice collar.

The martingale part that slides tightens and loosens lies flat.
I included three photos. The first pink collar is the PetSafe; second reddish-purple Coastal; the third Spindrift. I bought the Coastal in-store after rejecting the martingales with chains. The problem is that the sliding part forms a circle that my dog has captured hoses and sticks when goofing around. The third Spindrift collar is the same size but not yet found for sale online or in-store.The PetSafe 13″-20″ fit my 17″ neck, 65-lb. dog at its shortest adjustment. It is heavier than I’d like but at least it won’t get stuff stuck in it.

Best Collar for Dogs
Love the martingale collars because it helps with leash pulling. This petsafe brand is durable, has a clip, adjustable size and a special area to attach a dog collar to. Cannot recommend enough.

great collar!
Very easy to adjust, put on, remove and sits loose around the dog’s neck while not on the leash

My dog measured 17â behind her ears so I ordered the large but even after adjusting it as small as it would go itâs too large, a medium would have done. She was able to chew her name tag off. If it fit it would be a good collar.

It’s anybodys guess how well this will stand up to my GoldenDoodle, but so far so good. I did have to return for the smaller size though, they seem to be cut on a larger size, regardless that I measured.

Bought a Large according to their measurements and it didnât fit at all. My dog is about 55lbs and neck measures at a 17in circumference, which is why I bought the Large. I am reluctant to buy the medium because I had to pay to return this one. Not impressed.

The item was exactly what I had been looking for, but after measuring and following the size chart, the collar was too large to use. Very disappointing, as now I will need to guess what size i require.
