I have a 15 month old standard size Bernedoodle puppy who has never been taught how to walk on leash. She is learning the basic commands now and when she is supervised, I leave this short leash hang from her collar to help her get used to the feel of a leash hanging there. She had been in a kennel situation for about a year and not trained much when I got her about a month ago. She’s a beautiful, sensitive dog and she is very intelligent. She has not been trained to walk on leash. She is learning now. She is very timid and when I tried a longer leash she would freak out, jump in circles and basically go nuts. I put this short leash on her and she’s a different dog. I’m very pleased with how much of a change it made to try the shorter leash. This leash is very sturdy, as is the clip on the end that connects to the collar. I would happily recommend it to my friends.

I have a 16 month old Rottweiler who is quite the puller. I got him a new vest and I wanted a short leash to keep him close to me. This leash works great. He can’t pull me wherever he wants to go. I am glad I found this. It is in good condition. It seems to be well made. It doesn’t hurt my hand at all.

Great to use especially if my dog is on the retractable leash and I need him to be closer for a moment. Itâs short enough to not touch the ground when he walks. Although he has to wear a harness so that he doesnât step on it.

A regular short traffic leash
I like to add small but durable traffic leashes on beach of my dogs harness for extra security. Since I like to have it for each of their harnesses they have, the price can be pretty pricey. So came across this one as it wasnât too pricey. Which the length was a bit shorter but this seems like itâll do what I wanted it for. Only time will tell how this will hold up but since Iâm using for just in case scenarios, I feel it may last a bit. Seems sturdy. Stitching isnât bad and the clip is like any other common clip. Has a slight weight to it. Handle seems comfortable for my hands.
