We have six cats, and the pet carrier we have been using up to now is a plastic one that is over 25 years old. So I figured it was time for an updated model. This Elitefield pet carrier really meets our needs. The construction quality seems to be very good with large, smoothly operating zippers and a couple of pockets to carry extras like treats, documents, etc. The carrier is very lightweight and easily carried by the handle. It comes with a shoulder strap that can be used for carry also. There is plenty of mesh so the cat breathe well and can see out of the carrier not only on the sides but also up above. The bottom platform is firm but has some soft material on it for comfort, and it can be removed easily for cleaning if needed. For leashed animals, there is a short leash inside the carrier to keep your pet attached to the carrier if desired. I had to take one of our cats to the vet today, and it was nice having a port that I could stick my hand into to pet her and reassure her. About the only negative to mention about this case is that since there is mesh on the top of this carrier your pet can get wet if carried out in the rain. Thatâs a minor issue, though, and should not sway you from buying this pet carrier.Overall, this is a very nice pet carrier and worth its cost. I purchased the large sized carrier since one of our cats is pretty big and almost 15 lbs in weight. It would work out fine for small dogs, too.

Ends are bent from being folded down…
I bought this carrier to use for air travel with my 3.5 pound Pomeranian puppy. He will have barely enough room to stand up and turn around, but it meets the airlineâs requirements for size. I am disappointed to see that the zipper ends are quite crushed (from being folded down in the package). I try to firm them into the correct shape, but cannot. Perhaps with time they will be able to hold their proper shape. I hope so, because other than that, the carrier seems quite nice. I added a blanket to add some soft cushioning to the rather thin fleece panel bottom that comes with carrier and is attached to the top only of a plastic board. The board is stiff enough to help hold the shape of the âfloorâ and just sturdy enough so that it wonât bend under the weight of the puppy. Being plastic, the board is quite light-weight, which I like. I ordered the blue color. I would describe the color I received as âturquoise.â It is not a true blue as it appears in the photograph – just a hint âgreenerâ without being green. Itâs a pretty color – I donât mind it at all – itâs actually a little more interesting/unique than the true light blue would have been. I deducted one star because of the bent frames on the ends. I was tempted to deduct 2 stars for this, because it limits the dogâs headroom ever so slightly, but overall the carrier seems well-made and seems like it will do the job. I have attached a photo of one of the bent ends, as well as a photo of me trying to hold it up in its intended position. I will update my review after the flight…

Perfect size carrier for small size dog.
This is good quality flexible small pet carrier. The quality of material and seams are very good. We are using it for a small puppy who will not get very big. Would buy again!

Smaller than expected
I measured my old carrier that was perfect size for both my pets and the numbers matched up so I expected it to be the same size but maybe because of the shape it is smaller. My larger than average cat and my 9lb yorkie both fit but thereâs not a lot of room to turn around or stretch out a little. Keeping it to see how it works for us in different situations, but will probably end up getting a bigger one down the road. The quality is fine, itâs a little smushed, doesnât have a very great frame, and the top doesnât open so itâs a little tricky to get my cat in, and sheâs not even a fighter. Overall not perfect for my animals, but good enough for now. I do like the little opening for just a head to pop through, my kitty loved that for some extra head scritches while we waited to go into the vets office, and Iâm sure my dog will too.

Love this carrier for my 16 pound cat.
The netting is only from the middle up which I feel makes this carrier much safer in transfers. Also, there is a small moon shape zippered opening that I can leave open. It is not big enough for my cat to get out of but also lets her look outside the carrier, perhaps not feeling so trapped. The side zippered door where you place your pet in and out of is sturdy. It has two zippers, and you need to be sure to have both zippers at the bottom of the carrier together when zipped shut, otherwise your pet can push the zippers apart. I searched for a carrier a long time and I am super happy with this one. I also think it is a great price and my cat can stand and move around.

Nice colour, easy to carry
Puppy loves the bag, enjoy the ability to open a small portion to place hand in side to mellow puppy out and put her to sleep. Fits nicely on bed for crate training at night in beginning.
