    Works good but little noisy
Got this to groom my English Springer Spaniel. This works great and the clippers are quiet but the vacuum is noisy so it scares my dog. It IS much quicker and easier than just using clippers and having to clean up the fur. Was just disappointed in the noise factor.

    Perfect for tiny paws!
I wasn’t sure how big the trimmer was but its absolutely perfect for my 15 pound toy aussie! I was able to trim his paws in just a few minutes and the razor didn’t cut him so I was able to use it in between his paw pads. It came charged already and the battery charge is visible when you turn on the razor. Super easy to use, only a tiny bit noisy, not enough to scare my little guy who is afraid of everything. Works as intended and I couldn’t be happier!

Nice for trimming foot pads on my small dog
Very good for trimming between my dog’s toe pads and also his muzzle. So much faster than using scissors! You will need to brush it off every once in awhile when hair/fur clogs the blade but I think that is true of all clippers. The LED light is a nice touch (especially when trimming the bottom of the paws). It’s very quiet and the noice/vibration doesn’t seem to bother my dog.I had about 40% battery remaining after using for 5-7 minutes but I that was plenty of time to trim my small (10 lb.) dog. It may not be powerful enough for a larger dog. And it’s definitely made to use on smaller areas, not for grooming an entire dog.I’m unsure of the quality and I’ll have to see how it holds up over time since I’ve only used it twice so far. It does not have any sort of blade guard so i was worried about it possibly nicking my dog’s skin but I’ve had no problems so far.

A Total Game-Changer for Grooming My Nervous Pup!
I cannot say enough good things about the PAPMINI Dog Clippers! As soon as they were delivered, I had to put them to the test because my dog desperately needed her paw pads trimmed. I was worried about how she would react since she’s usually skittish around grooming tools, but these clippers are a total game-changer.The LED display and ultra-low noise (only 35dB!) made a huge difference. At first, she was hesitant and thought it was just another scary device. I gently held it on her paw for a moment to show her it was safe, and once she realized it wasn’t going to hurt her, she completely calmed down. After that, she let me trim the rest of her paws without a fuss! The clippers are lightweight, easy to maneuver, and incredibly effective. The precision was spot on—I could see her paw pads again, and the whole process was much faster and less stressful than I ever expected. If you’re looking for a grooming tool that’s quiet, efficient, and pet-friendly, this is it. It’s an absolute must-have for pet owners. Thank you for making such an amazing product—it’s truly a godsend!

    Not powerful enough
It is safe on skin and there is no risk of harming your dog. However, I found the trimmer was not strong enough and it was a bit difficult to trim off the hair. I would have to run it a few times to get what I needed off. I wish it was more powerful. It is a good price, but I would honestly pay a bit more for a better quality product. It took some introducing, but my dog was not scared of this product. He is used to trimmers though, as I groom him myself. The noise level was good, not too loud. It is lightweight and I like the size of the trimmer because it can get into the nooks and crannies, but again, it was not powerful enough.

    Easy to use!
These are very easy to use. It takes a little bit of patience and time to remove the hair. However, they work pretty well. I do wish the blade was a little sharper. Although it is nice that they are not sharp enough to really cut your pup. The picture shows the before and after. I really love that there is a light on the end. Makes it so much easier to see!

  8. McStorme

    This thing works
I have two Pommies and I like to keep their slippers trimmed a little bit. They allow me to use it. While they sit in my lap. Suggestion put a towel down first on your lap as a tiny little hairs can get all over your clothing. This is an awesome product. I will be using it regularly and the dogs don’t mind it. It’s very silent if you have a skittish dog or cat this is what you need.

Every challenge I faced using it comes with certainty down to the fact I’m no ‘Girl with the Dogs’ (YT it – actually some good tips on using stuff like this, too). The unit itself is perfectly capable. Overall, I took about 20 minutes to do what I could with his feet, and it still had about 78% battery from a full charge. The narrow head does indeed make it far easier to get into the paw, which is where 98% of the fluff is stored. I have done this task once before with repurposed barber’s shaver; the size really does make a marked difference to the level of detail you’re about to get, as well as how thorough you can be.The LED is also REALLY helpful to have. My dog is a mix of rather unknown breed, but it’s clear he has some collie and a bit of waterdog in him – the webbing in his feet proves it. If you’re doing such paws, that’s the key threat of hurting your goober – catching that membrane in the shears. It makes the work a lot slower, and certainly makes you more anxious – your dog will pick up on that. The LED gave me a lot more confidence doing this, and indeed – several times came in clutch, stopping me before I did (in my inexperience – as any of us looking at this would confirm, we’d never intentionally hurt them) accidentally hurt him. I’d have felt awful, and he’d have probably felt pretty bad too. So – LED, simple improvement yet a sure way to avoid a tragedy – I certainly managed because of it!The unit itself is pretty easy to handle, my only real gripe comes in that it can’t get a ton out at a time. That’s obviously a consequence of the tradeoff from a larger head, and part of it is no doubt my lacking skill with doing this job. What I’d probably suggest is go in (ideally with dulled dog scissors – the ones that have the tips burned down so they aren’t pokey) with scissors that are sharp and cut confidently – use that to get the lion’s share and then go in with these shears for best results.Another real credit to this thing – they emphasize the volume is low on the motor, and they’re not kidding. Unfortunately, due to some misguided early play with my father, my dog is kind of scared of motors (protip: don’t pretend something scares you, because they only know it’s scary, not why – even if it seems fun in the moment for everyone.) ANYWAY, he’s not great around them. He certainly didn’t like the barber’s shaver I attempted to use prior – but he laid down and let me work through the entire thing, barring his natural ticklishness on his feet.If you have a dog that doesn’t remain very calm for this, that’s certainly a huge plus that cannot be overstated.Anyway, it’s well thought-out, well-packed and designed, easy to charge and it holds long enough for even the biggest dog grooms. I’ve wanted one with a narrower head for some time, and I have certainly not been disappointed.Easy 5-stars from me.========================== Overall View: [😀] ==== – 😦🙁😐😊😀 + ==========================Media Used: Before and after pictures of his paws. Ended up doing the tops with scissors, hence no after for that – but I think you will find the B/A for the interior/underside of his paws to be quite enlightening. Please evaluate it in the knowledge I’m an amateur who has only really been compelled to do this kind of thing twice on account of the groomer typically lining up pretty well.

This is a really good little trimmer, and much better than I expected it to be too. It’s pretty well made, feeling like it’ll last a decent while, and it seems so far that the charge is good as it still had some juice when I went to use it for a second time. The big point for me is how quiet this is, my Westie get’s perturbed easily yet doesn’t mind this at all. So the other point would be it doesn’t snag or dig in to cause discomfort. Add these two to what is another important point – cutting ability! – and you have an excellent product here and one I’m very happy with which has made a big difference.

This has been amazing at trimming hair on dog’s face, near the tail and on the paws! The dog looks so much cleaner just from this trim. Will keep using this regularly to maintain the cut in between groomer visits. A fast and efficient little tool! It’s quiet so it doesn’t freak out the dog and it is precise so you don’t cut something by accident.

I have a couple of other trimmers that are meant to get into tight spots like the area between paw pads but they are narrower which is suitable for most jobs. Our new pup has snow shoes for paws. They look like Ultra-Grinch feet. The other trimmers worked but it took a lot longer to get all of the fur removed, and like most pups, he’s not happy about having his paws worked on. The more times the trimmer goes between pads, the more times it tickles, and there’s the standard pullback of the paw. These are at least 30% wider than the broadest paw trimmer I had previously so overall time is much less to get all four paws done.I can’t say it vibrates any less than the other trimmers, so there will always be tickling. We have also used it to trim the fur that grows over his eyes. In the past, we used small scissors, but like any scissors, they have sharp ends, and I don’t want to harm an eye if the pup quickly moves his head. With this trimmer, that job was made much easier, faster, and safer.► Like other clippers, the round shape allows for easy manipulation in the hand when needed to get between toes and pads. The body is a little slippery but manageable.► I do appreciate the LED display that shows battery status. It’s a significant pain when a battery dies, and then the pup and I need to go through the routine of getting set up a second time once the battery is charged.► Whereas the other trimmers have proprietary charging cables, this uses (ad comes with) a standard USB-C cable.► So far, after three trimmings, the battery still shows 65% which is pretty good.► The actual clipper has ceramic teeth like most new trimmers, and they are set back far enough from the blunt end that they cannot do any harm to skin. The power button doesn’t take much to activate and for the most part this is good but there have been times when I was rotating the trimmer and accidentally hit it. Since the trimmer is handled more toward the middle, it would have been better to put the power button on the end opposite to the clipper.Overall it is a good trimmer that for us worked out nicely.
