Introducing Wyze Cam Pan v3, the pot-bellied little pan-and-tilt wonder who’s about to answer all your home monitoring needs. Forget about pets and people leaving the camera’s field-of-view. With 360° horizontal range, and a full 180° vertical range, the “field-of-view” is the entire room. And with an IP65 weather rating, that field-of-view can now extend to the outdoors—sun, rain, wind, or snow. Automated surveillance, whisper-quiet operation, and smart AI detections and tracking, all in a perfect, portly little package. Wyze Cam Pan v3 proves that even if you’re adorable, you can still be an action hero. Outdoor power adapter sold separately.
Pan, tilt, and zoom in full 1080p HD: Livestream from anywhere and control remotely using the Wyze app to check any part of the room, fast. Or monitor a room automatically, in a constant pattern, by setting 4 predefined waypoints. Panning has a 360° left/right rotation range and tilting has a full 180° vertical up/down range.
Indoor/Outdoor: Wyze Cam Pan v3 is a wired pan-and-tilt video camera with IP65 rating, so you can confidently install it and track the action, whether outside in the rain or inside in the nursery (outdoor use requires Wyze Outdoor Power Adapter, sold separately).
Motion Tracking: Go beyond motion and sound alerts. Wyze Cam Pan doesn’t just detect motion, it locks onto it—unfriendly, friendly, or furry—automatically following the action all around the room.
Smooth, quiet operation: Engineered for speed, precision, and quiet operation. Wyze Cam Pan v3 does its job smoothly and discreetly, without noisy gearworks.
Color Night Vision: Record nighttime video in full, vivid color in environments up to 25x darker than traditional cameras.

    Great and affordable.
Now, to get what you really want, gotta sub for 20 bucks a year, per camera. Not bad for peace of mind, 2 way audio, excellent night vision and remote access to the SD card should you have a window of net outtage/lack of notifications.Set-up was a breeze, initially installing will require a few upgrades and reboots of the cam. My home us older so outside power was an interesting resolution. I used light bulb adapters that provided me a couple ports and an easy extension cable from Walmart, and a couple screw in hooks for cable management. Good enough for now. These really have a good picture. 3 quality modes, I dropped a 64gb micro SD card in each so storage is no issue. Set up the 4 way points for pan mode for a little over 180 degree scanning for the front and back yard and bam. Secure and convenient. Now, it detects a lot especially if you subscribe, looks to be trainable but requires feed back. Fine with me if over time it gets better. A cover over my motorcycle billows and it knows, or even at night when I turn my bathroom light on. Having a good stable home internet connection is desirable. I currently have T mobile home internet, and have quality in SD mode to help reduce bandwidth and storage. Spoty at times but works. I’ll be back on an uodate to this review in a few months.

These cameras work really well, they’re dirt cheap, and their customer service is flawless.
I’m gonna install like a thousand of these. Super fast/easy install and setup, you can likely get them mounted and operating in ten minutes each if you’re so inclined and just a tiny bit handy. Maybe an hour or two for a difficult install location including wall penetration and caulking for the power lead. The included power cables (and longer ones marketed specifically for these cameras) are flat cables thin enough that I was able to repeatedly shut them into my window frames and lock the windows without noticeable resistance and without even nicking the wire jacket. YMMV there but if you’re using cables longer than those included then you can test your fit no-risk with the included cables! Separate cables as long as you could need are dirt cheap too, they only need to carry USB power so no data leads necessary. Solder up your own custom janks easily if ya want & know how, I’ll be doing that with the rest of my Wyze installs so I can hide easier-to-pull two-conductor wire in the walls behind the cams. Totally optional though. There are so many options. You can do this, your grandmother can do this, a particularly ham-fisted orangutan could do this.I’m currently panning and tilting one of my cameras from 1,120 geodesic miles away and watching it respond to my commands with no more than 200ms total latency per command, I think I can fire off around five or six commands in a second. Looks good in day, streetlight, and pitch black conditions.IDK what their subscription service includes yet but A. You don’t need it, I’ve been using these cams no issues for a few days before I bought the subscription tonight, and B. Not very expensive. The “unlimited cameras” option seems very fair given the fact that I’m about to have these things monitoring every square nanometer of multiple properties. I’m hoping the AI facial recognition can identify deer faces lol.Probably worth going for quality/endurance even if it means sacrificing capacity with the μSD cards for these things. With factory settings, they write a LOT of data. Dropped significantly since I made a few adjustments, but the first day on factory settings I think they recorded like 15-20GB each.Had a small issue but customer service resolved it about as fast as I could possibly exchange emails with their representative, even accomodating an unusual request probably outside the umbrella of their warranty terms. Flawless service.Tl;Dr great product and great customer service despite being really really affordable. VERY easy install and setup.

    Excellent Value for Home Security
The WYZE Cam Pan v3 is an impressive, affordable security camera with great features. The 1080p HD video is crystal clear, and the night vision works excellently in low light. The 360° pan and 93° tilt offer full coverage, and the zoom lets you get a closer look when needed. Its weatherproof design (IP65 rating) makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, and the easy setup through the WYZE app is a big plus. The two-way audio feature is handy for communication, and motion detection alerts keep you informed. For the price, the WYZE Cam Pan v3 offers outstanding performance, making it a top choice for home security.

If you’re installing this outdoors they recommend to purchase the outdoor plug as the one it comes with is meant for indoors and not weatherproof. The outdoor one only comes in white but easy to install and you will need the adaptor plug because it needs to be flush against the camera in order to install a bracket. I purchased a bracket that is further away from the wall than the one that comes with the camera.Note, the software only has an Alexa option (just an update on this comment, even though it only has Alexa in the software, I was actually able to add the device to my Google account )and you will need to purchase an SD card in order to have the free service, when you go into the app and you click on each photo, it will prompt you to purchase cloud service but you don’t need this if you purchased an SD card I personally purchased the Wyze 32 gig card.To view your pics/videos from the SD card in the app, click ‘events’ then click on a photo that was taken and click ‘playback’. Worry when you see under events at the top right of the screen next to the search icon is a picture click it and you’ll see a nice view of all the pictures on that camera. The track motion is a cool feature but doesn’t work well in the rain or snow as the camera tries to focus on each droplet or rain or snow so you’ll want to turn that off during precipitation otherwise, the feature is very good. All in all, I am very pleased with this device. I was quite concerned about installing it at first due to having to potentially purchase a cloud service, but you don’t need to. I think there are other functions that you might have to. I’m just getting into all of the features and will post more once I find more.
