    Nice!
For the price, these are surprisingly good! Very heavy, solid, and moderately easy to assemble. If you can’t lift 50 pounds, get a buddy to help you assemble. The plastic trays under the kennel floors are a very thoughtful design consideration. I’d suggest reducing the gap between them in future redesigns. The rolling casters are nice, too, if a little difficult to lock.I bought two – one bigger than the other – and they look very nice in my living room after adding a dog bed and some pillows to each. I’ll be making a custom wood top to go on each so they can be really tall end tables around the couches.

    Very sturdy and well built.
Easy to put together and the wheels make it easy to move around. I’m a rally really surprised how heavy duty it is. Definitely recommend.

    It’s sturdy
Definitely worth the buy. We were adopted by a pit 😅 he was dropped off on my street and found his way to me. He has high anxiety when left alone and will scrap over trash. With this cage I’m able to separate him from my other zoo animals and give him an interactive toy without him busting out and surprising everyone. He is about 50-60 pounds of pure muscle. It folds down so it can be taken with you but it is super bulky either way. When I received it it was damaged but all in all it’s a great purchase.

    Works for my pitbull!
This thing is great! My pitbull has escaped from a wire crate before but can’t get out of this one, even when he’s really anxious and tearing stuff up (don’t worry, he no longer sleeps with a bed in the crate). He is a large dog, about 70lbs, and has long legs. I got the 36” but if I got another I would size up. He fits but can’t fully stretch out (as seen in the picture). Some things I really like:1. The crate slats are wide so his paws don’t completely slip through the cracks. I’ve seen some crates with thin slats and I think that would be really uncomfortable for him.2. Durable – he has tried biting the bars and has only succeeded in scratching the metal. Nothing is bent.3. The pan under the crate is awesome because I don’t have to worry about him tearing it up while also catching any mess he might make. Some notes:1. It’s very heavy and kind of ugly. It’s disrupted my comfy cozy vibe but it’s worth it. The wheels unlock fairly easily so you can roll it wherever.2. The latches have a screw so they are unmovable. This is great because if they move around a lot the latches can come undone.3. He has 💩 in there before and it’s kind of a pain to clean up because of the bars.. but the pan underneath is helpful.I would highly recommend! It’s been such a relief knowing he can’t get out or hurt himself trying.

    Great heavy duty crate
My 70 lb shepherd mix is an escape artist when I leave the house. I would be leave and come home with him waiting for me at the door, wagging his tail with only to find his aftermath (shredded shirts, packs of bread, potatoes and any other food that he could reach off the counter eaten). I turned the old crate around so the door was against the wall thinking he wouldn’t be able to get out. That was working and I was going to return this because I figured I would just do that, but then I came home and he had pushed his way out with the door against the wall and I had to keep this. I’ve been using it a couple weeks now and he’s hasn’t getting out which has been great. It’s much larger than my previous flimsy wire cage and very sturdy and well built. It’s very heavy duty so it’s a two person job to assemble it but very easy to assemble. It seems larger than my last one which is good so he can stand up easier and move around. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because the screws to lock the crate are very small and if I’m not careful it will fall out and then I’ve got to find where it went. They should have some sort of washer or something to stop the screw from coming out completely. But other than that this is a great investment.

    Holding up strong
My husband & I took in a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. It was supposed to be temporary, but became a foster fail. We were told by the previous owner & her mother to “not waste our time and money” because the dog had a history of breaking out of cages/destroying them. This cage is seriously indestructible. My husband has always been against crating our dogs, but it came to a point that our couch & children’s toys were being eaten. For the safety of the dog, I researched different cages that would work best for our pup.Long & behold, we have found the cage! It’s holding up great! We have a bed to protect our pup’s feet from the grate. There are two trays trays that may for easy clean up because he sheds excessively, due to the stress/anxiety.I work from home so he’s never in the cage for more than 4 hours, which is about 2-3 days per week while we are out & about with the kids, grocery shopping, etc. There is some damage on the bars from him chewing or clawing, but the cage is holding up very well.Highly recommend the cage and definitely worth the money.

This crate was more expensive than the others, but it’s worth it. Fast to assemble and very sturdy. Our puppy is going to be a big dog and we wanted something tough that he wouldn’t be able to break or chew through and I think this one is perfect. It’s big so you’ll need a large space for it, but it looks like he’ll be able to stand up in it when fully grown, and he’s got plenty of room in there. He likes it!

I have an almost 70lb pit bull pup. I purchased the 42 inch. It seems to fit her perfect. She can stand up in it, turn around and stretch out a little. I don’t think the 38inch would have been suitable even though some pit bull reviewers with a larger full grown pitbulls seem to be happy with it. She goes in it on her own and takes naps so I think she is definitely comfortable in it. It is definitely taller and wider than I imagined even though I had the measuring tape out trying to see how much room it would take up.She has anxiety about being left alone which i am hoping we’ll work through eventually but one time she could not contain herself and pooped/peed in it, the trays underneath saved a huge clean up. The wheels are a bonus and they lock.

perfect for my dog as destoyed wire cages easily

  10. Rob

Delivery was quick and the crate very easy to put together. I was a little concerned it may not be big enough for a German Shepard but there is enough room for her to stand and turn around and she seems comfortable and not anxious about staying in it for extended periods of time. Its also very secure as she has burst out of lesser quality crates and this is why we picked this one. So far so good.

It’s a 2 man job for sure! It’s an awesome kennel! Unless you have our dog! We had to put clips on the latches, she bent the roof latch after removing the clip to it’s now chained closed lol. She’s chewing the bars on the top and might finally make it through 1 in the not so distant future. My boy however loves it and is jealous of our Houdini reincarnated. If she finally destroys this beyond safe use we’ll definitely buy another! Just don’t get a dog like ours and you’ll be fine 😂 and in case of judgement, she’s kennelled for her safety, not our convenience. If have a Houdini this will work, might need to add some clips though lolUpdate: this dog is not a dog! Took around a year but the kennel has been destroyed! The door is now warped with the bottom bar missing. 1 bar on the to use chewed to less than a centimetre thick. Unless you have a dog like mine, it will last and is well worth the money…..
