Retractable Dog Leash nylon tape strong and durable, tangle-free 360 degree tape movement. but still remain within safe distance.
Simple, practical and comfortable, great for any types of dog with 0 to 110 lbs. Please check your dog’s weight to select the leash size before placing an order. Of course, if your dog is very strong, you can also choose this style.
Simple operation: 1. When you want to slow down the dog, press the button and the rope will stop. 2. If you want to lock it, just push the small button forward. 3: To unlock, pull the small button back.
A ergonomic and anti-slip rubberized handle fits in your hand well for those long walks, If you have a big hand, choose this leash and there will be no problem with this huge handle when you wear gloves while walking your dog in winter.
Note:1.Do not let your dog chewing the leash, a 5 pound dog can easily pull off the leash if it has a little breakage.2.Don’t pull the rope to the end, it is easy to damage the spring, so it won’t retractable.3.A special reminder is: do not let sand get into the traction rope when you use it on the beach.
If you have any quality problems or don’t like it, please contact us ,We believe there is nothing that cannot be resolved through communication. .We will give you a satisfactory answer.
Customers say
Customers find the leash functional and long enough for their dogs. They appreciate its length, which allows them some freedom while keeping control. However, some customers have reported issues with the locking mechanism staying locked or jamming, and the retraction mechanism not properly retracting back into the handle. There are mixed opinions on durability, value for money, and ease of use.

Great leash-used for 3 years
I have used this leash for 3 years with my dog. Itâs a great leash and durable. My dog loves to sniff so itâs great for us, I can keep walking and he will eventually catch up. Itâs strong if he ever runs and reaches the end of his leash.Never had issues with the lock, etc. Recently the rubber came loose in the handle but it doesnât bother me. Additionally, it can get stuck at lengths if it doesnât feed in straight. This doesnât happen all that often and when it does, itâs super easy to correct by just allowing it to feed in straight. I would recommend! Iâm purchasing another leash bc his smells and Iâm too lazy to wash it lol.

A great leash
I use this leash to take my dogs out to potty, as 1 of them cannot be trusted without one and our yard is not fenced. I LOVE this leash for that purpose. She can get far enough away from me that she has privacy to do her business, while still allowing me to keep her contained. The leash itself holds up well to weight, my girl is 109 lbs and I have never felt like it was not sturdy enough to hold her. The only thing I do not like about the leash is the locking mechanism is a little weird. Most other leashes I have used like this you can push the button and hold it to lock it, and slide it to hold the lock at that length. This leash whenever you push the lock button it holds at that length and a button has to be pressed to release it again. Once I got used to it, it is fine, but it threw me off the first few times I used it. Overall, great leash and would 100% buy again if/when I need another one.

Nice Leash! Positive, Robust Locking Mech!
TL:DR;Nice Leash! Positive, Robust Locking Mech! Good Feel, Nice Fit and Finish! They all look the same donât they?Well, the main difference is in the locking mech. This one seems much more robust and functional.I had purchased another brand (MK-DEF) and it âlooksâ identical at first glance like many of the countless others. It lasted many months, around 8-10? Not too bad really. The lock finally failed and I purchased another of the same brand. This brand new one was inconsistent out of the box and would lock/not lock or get stuck/release fine and failed in a day, locking stuck in the retracted position! This led me to this EC.TEAK product.I am a Special FX Designer/Fabricator by trade. Look up the MK-DEF and compare the two button styles. This EC.TEAK has a large, substantial button that sticks out and travels around a 1/2â, not a flush mounted âteeny tiny watch works scaleâ button. That allows for a larger, stronger mech and greater travel and engagement into the locking teeth or detents. The lock release is another tall, easy to use and positive release design. Also I noticed that the free play (slack/slop) of the lead when locked was greater. That is a good thing and leads me to believe the spacing and/or number of teeth are fewer which may equate to larger, stronger stops.Think about it, you have a fixed volume to create a lock. You can choose fewer larger teeth or more, finer, weaker ones. Every time the teeth grind, they are getting damaged.Too fine and it will tend to mis-engage easier and more often and are easier to damage. Fewer coarser teeth will be taller/deeper/stronger and tend to engage easier and be more resistant to damage.Of course, all of this is just me speculating as I have not torn down either of the products to see what is inside and what actually failed.More of a seat of the pants gut feeling based on fit, function and feel of the units. YMMV!In closing, I have high hopes for a long service life from this EC.TEAK product. Time will tell!

Good leash for the price
PROS: sturdy and well made, great price, long, lightweight. The cord is surprisingly strong, as my dog likes to grab on to it and pull and it has shown no signs of fraying or tearing.SO-SO: the locking mechanism took time getting used to, since pressing all the way down would lock and pressing half-way down would only stop the leash momentarily. After several months of daily use the push down lock mechanism stopped working, although pushing the button with your thumb continues to lock no problem. Secondly, the leash is supposedly designed to prevent the cord from twisting and getting stuck when retracting, but that’s isn’t the case. It happens pretty often.CONS: the retracting mechanism is weak and sometimes because it doesn’t retract fast enough I have to pull and retract (as of I was fishing) and sometimes have to grab the cord with my other hand to pull the dog (I’ve burned my hand once). So that part is annoying. Secondly, after months of use the mechanism stopped retracting fully, so I have almost 1.5ft of dangling cord left over.Last update 3/31/22. Leash finally broke after 6 months. The internal plastic locking mechanism broke so it no longer extends. Only worth 6 months of daily walks.Overall a decent leash for the price. A year duration would have been more acceptable.

A little heavier than I anticipated but given the length of the lead I guess it’s to be expected. And the weight is not cumbersome or awkward so I have no problems with it. My dog is <18 lbs so this will work perfectly for our needs and I feel comfortable with it and having her on it.

Kinda heavy, didn’t realize that for my little pooch but love the length, 26 ft is awesome and it’s not cheaply put together, it will definitely last. The one thing I don’t like but will get over, is the lock…you can’t press the button to temporarily hold the pooch in one place it automatically locks it and if they are tugging you can’t just press the button to release its a bit of a pain in the butt….a quick lock button would be ideal on top of the permanent lock, something to think about

Love the nice long line, but in our cold eastern Ontario winter temps, the mechanism is freezing both locked and unlocked. This is annoying! Quality is good otherwise, nice and strong, fits well in the hand. You do need to practice to be able to use the lock and release function properly, and be careful about not getting the tape-like line twisted. Overall, it was a good buy.

It works well enough in dry weather however if it gets wet, and then freezes during the cold weather you will never get this thing to rewind.

Note: I have used this only for two weeks. The lock/unlock mechanisms feel good, the retraction is quite responsive/fast and there is no “entanglement” tendency of the cord. It looks well-made and “solid”, but no time to comment on durability. Very satisfied (so far).
