Great harness
Harness is easy to put on and adjust. Very durable material and lightweight overall . The sizing was a little off though. I went off the chart but ended up having to size up. Love the colors!

Easily adjustable, great quality
I bought this because my dog was difficult to fit for a traditional harness. She would wiggle out of anything we put her in. I like the three straps that are very easily adjusted, this fits her frame nicely and keeps her secure. Very lightweight, and does not seem to bother my dog. Worth the cost!

Hiking Harness
Awesome adjustability. I love the handle as my friend told me to lift your dog up and over an obstacle in the path.It also has belly straps to prevent the harness from pulling off and a chest and tummy protector.I really like the 3-point leash attachments. It is very lightweight and will be great for hiking across streams on a hot day.

I love Ruffwear but this was too small 🙁
I purchased this because I love Ruffwear gear, and have multiple things from them over the years. We have a front range, multiple leashes, and a jacket that fits our 120lb American Bulldog. I really liked that it had a traffic/lifting handle and two connection points on the back because we use a leash coupler on our boy for added control/help with pulling.The other harness & jacket we have are both L/XL. The jacket fits him like a dream without any issues.Unfortunately, the L/XL of this harness did not fit him under the shoulders/chest even when it was at its largest size. The neck & back torso straps fit like a glove but his chest is way too deep for this, despite measuring it before purchase.Iâm having to return it for that reason but I do still love Ruffwear and can tell that this wouldâve been another durable and excellent quality product had it been more accommodating for his chest girth.Maybe Ruffwear can someday make a XXL version for our extra large pups!

I have a now 2 year old excitable dog. I can’t tell you how many harnesses we’ve been thru. Either they would get chewed on if i didn’t immediately take it off when we came back from a walk or they didn’t fit right or just didn’t hold up.I had looked at the Ruffwear harnesses every time before buying a new harness but couldnt justify paying more for a harness that would at best only last a few weeks or so I thought.Then she slipped her harness.Decided it was worth a try even if it didn’t hold up. Well, I wish I had gotten this harness sooner. It’s light weight, fits perfect, she has not chewed it even once. I think because if how unobtrusive it is she doesn’t even seem to notice it’s on. The front clip works well to redirect when she pulls on walks, the safety handle is helpful and she can NOT slip this harness.She has thick, longer fur and sometimes she would get tangles in her fur where the harness had been but she has not had 1 tangle with this harness. I’ve hand washed the harness a few times and it comes out looking brand new.Overall, very, VERY happy with this harness. It has saved me money as I’m not buying a new harness every few weeks. My only regret is I wish I had gotten it sooner.

Easy to put on and keeps Houdini from escaping!
Our 2 year old Standard Poodle (43) pounds learned how to escape from her other harness that she had for well over a year. She already could escape from a collar. I quickly ordered one on Amazon, to get one overnight. It worked, but the buckles were difficult and it was not the easiest to get on. This Ruffwear one was recommended by someone on a Poodle site and I’m so glad. It goes on easy, the buckles are smooth to operate and I no longer dread putting her harness on. I do suggest you follow the manufacturer suggestions of measuring first. I nearly ordered a medium because she always seems to be a medium and the other two harnesses were medium. I went ahead and measured and she measured on the edge of Small at 26″. I went ahead and ordered the Small. When I first got it, I thought it wasn’t going to fit, but when I adjusted everything, it is a perfect fit for her and so glad I measured. A medium would never have been able to get snug enough for her. If you’re looking for a harness, this is the one to order, but make sure you measure first!

Fits my barrel chested Brussels Pug very well. The dog tugs hard on the leash constantly, so itâs been a lifesaver as she cannot slip out.

I recommend the flagline for deepchested and escape artists. I have had one for 3 years but needed to replace because it was too big after my dog lost weight. I have a bluetick coonhound so it has been tested. I love the lifetime warranty so I don’t feel the price is bad.
