Great, Sturdy, Doesn’t Slip, Dog Escaped After 1 Day
Prefacing this with — I have a silky terrier puppy. Under 5 lbs.Was easy to build. Realized the non-slip attachments were in a zipped bag after assembly. It really doesn’t slide around with those on. And I realized this too late. My fault. Doesn’t shake, doesn’t yield to a tiny puppy’s shenanigans. Very study. I got the shorter one with 4 panels. Got the job done. I can sit in there myself (4’10”, so not for everyone), and my puppy can orbit me like a satelite within it.Put her in there day 2 after assemblying it. Took her 30 minutes to somehow escape. She may have used the walls. She’s small and fat. Clumsy. Walked right into my bathroom after what sounded like struggling. The gate was still up.Still think the thing is great. I might try duct tapping the inside bars so that she has no footing. Unless you put them in a kennel or crate, most dogs would escape just about any confine, so it isn’t the manufacturer”s fault. The door is cute. Useless as all hell but cute nonetheless.

Great portable fencing – but not for small animals.
Good light-weight portable fence. The sections snap together firmly, but not easily. I find that the best way to do it is to lie them flat and use your foot to snap them together. It can be done by hand, but to do the bottom of the fence is a bit tough. I also find that the fence cannot “fold up” once it is put together. In other words, you can’t just fold them up in one easy-to-carry stack. You have to unsnap the sections to do that, or get help to move the whole thing. This is a bit inconvienent when moving the fence about, which my thin metal fences do easily. Still, this is decent, lightweight, and sturdy fence and I like it. The one caveat is that I bought this for bunnies, and a 5 month old Japanese Harlequin was able to squeeze almost completely through it. Almost… Her head, shoulders, and abdomen made it through. Her hips and rear legs did not. (See photo.) And with her hind end off the ground, she had no more traction to “pull” herself through. Had she hung there for any length of time it could have killed her. To get her out, I had to cut a slat loose with a hack saw and lift her out. She wasn’t injured in any way, just caught. The fence was easy to epoxy back together though. And, to be fair, the bunny getting caught isn’t the fence’s fault in any way. It’s just not appropriate for small animals (or determined young bunnies) who may get caught in it.That being said, for adult rabbits I’ve had no problems with it. They certainly won’t be able to knock it over, but if you put a large container in there they may want to try to hop over it. I’ve been using inside, and in the yard, and overall I’ve liked it. I’m considering buying another one.

Stable, looks nice and a good value
This was very easy to set up. Large enough for my puppy to have plenty of room to play. I got a heavy (2 mm) clear plastic pad to protect my floor. I did not want the carpet-type of floor protection because I didn’t want him to think the whole floor was a pee-pad. This has been a very successful setup and he pretty consistently goes on the pad, not the floor.

    missing part
really like the item nice height easy assembly flexible multi shapes however package was missing 4 rubber stoppers which prevents sliding. not sure if company can mail out replacement pieces. I will research.Item placed in room with carpet so purchased piece of linoleum to protect carpet easy clean ups.

    Perfect Pet Gate!
Our puppy was not enjoying being in his kennel while when we left him home along, and this pet enclosure has been amazing! He’s got plenty of room for his bed, some toys, water bowl and room to roam around. He’s become comfortable staying in here. The door has been great for the shorter members of my family. Instead of having to bend down and grab him, we simply open the door. It’s setup semi-permanently in our dining room.

    It does the job
I bought this to replace a black wire xpen that I use for my dachshund when he’s having GI issues. I have mixed feelings about it.The pros: it is much more aesthetically pleasing and lighter weight, the joints lock into position so it will hold the shape that you set it up in. It also doesn’t scratch up my floors like the wire one did. And it holds up ok to chewing. I mean, my little old guy only has a few teeth left but he’s tried his best to chew his way out with no luck! Lastly, the door has the ability to be locked in the open position. May not be a big deal for some but his water bowl is in there and with our previous pen, he was constantly getting shut OUT of his pen since it’s in the corner of a common living space of our tiny house. We leave it up 24/7 but only lock him in on occasion when he’s having GI troubles and we leave or go to bed.The cons: First, the price is way more than the sturdier wire pens. It’s a little on the flimsy side. Because it’s light weight, it can be pushed around easily. It does come with rubber stoppers for the bottom and they help but I’m wondering if my dog will figure out how to lift it and go under it at some point. Also, the door requires some attention when latching. Twice now I’ve closed the door and latched it but one of the pins failed to seat into the hole properly and my dog pushed thru it. I now have to wiggle it after latching to make sure it’s actually latched at both top and bottom. It’s on a level surface so it shouldn’t be a struggle but it is unfortunately. And lastly, not a con specific to this pen but I really wish I could find a pen that doesn’t require them to step over a lip to get in and out. Short legged breeds struggle with this and I’ve not found a pen that didn’t have it. My little fella has to jump over it (4-5” tall) and so I have to keep a rug down under the door for traction. All in all, it’s been an ok pen. I still like it better that my previous wire pen but I’m still looking for better!

Bought this for a small puppy. It’s a good size in both diameter and height compared to the others available in the price range. Most small ones are 24″ high – maybe okay for a very small animal, but not high enough for most puppies that are getting around. This one is 28″ high, can be configured square, rectangle, octagon or irregular, and the panels are bigger then most. The rubber pads for the bottom are nice and thick and protect the floor, as well as preventing it from being pushed around. The door is secure and works smoothly. Nothing is cheap these days, but I’d say this is the best deal around. I’d buy it again.
