Add’l Comments Added: Built to last the lifetime of our dog!
This is no flimsy crate and it’s large enough for a full size Shepherd or Rottie to stand, sit, and lie down without being cramped. Unpacking it was a nice surprise as the sides just fold up for you to insert provided bolts to secure the sides in place; very little left to do to put the crate together right out of the box. It took only about 5 minutes! The create is no lightweight, so the heavy duty wheels are a great addition (2 lock), making it roll very nicely in any direction. You do need space for it. This large version is big enough that it doesn’t easily fit through hallways/doorways, although it would be easy enough to dismantle the crate to reassemble it in another room. This crate is incredibly sturdy and has smooth welds with no sharp edges, and no flex at all in those bars. There is one mechanism that rotates to keep the full size plastic tray and full size wire floor in place until you turn it to easily slide either/both out for cleaning. The doorway is wide enough and tall enough to allow ease of entry/exit. (ADDL COMMENT: When open, the door can easily be lifted off the hinges if you’d like to not have door swing open/shut at times) The door opens all the way back against the crate. It’s nice to have the entire top flip open as well for ease of adding bedding or removing toys rather than half-crawling inside to reach those items. There is some intended flex in the wire floor grate as the dog stands on it, but the bars underneath minimize this and don’t compromise the strength of the crate. We are so pleased with this one-time purchase. The crate also arrived earlier than promised. (ADD’L COMMENT: It’s an investment, yes. But it’s the best on the market and we will never have to replace! We ordered a second crate to have in another part of the house. Our dog rests in it after training sessions. Large crate pads or dog beds fit well. Dog does not challenge openings or hinges on this style at all, unlike wire frame crates that have some flex on sides or doors. Construction is not bare metal; nice finish. The white one looks nice on side of living room.)

Excellent cage with a comparable price
This is a perfect size cage for my sons dog Gus to grow into. He is a Chocolate Lab puppy about 6mo old and already getting large. He has those big paws so you know he is going to be on the larger side. My son liked that it had a top opening and both side by side door openings and you are able to have all three open at once if need be. Of course my granddaughter was playing in there first and then their two cats decided to take a nap in there but as to date unless pulled into the cage the dog doesnât go in on his own yet. He doesnât cray when he is put in there and just lays down and goes to sleep or. Stands up and watches to make eye contact and then he moans to come out. He is quite the character. This is supposed to be indestructable, we will see if that is the case, just like it is supposed to be escape proof, but my granddaughter figured her way out of it and I have a feeling the dog may too. But my son says he has hope becausae she said this cage is very well made, has very good mechanisms on the top and doors where they open and close so he is ever hopeful. I was comfortable with gifting them this at the price it was. They didnât even have as nice of oneâs as this at PETCO and those were priced much higher and then would have involved a shipping fee. I am a PRIME MEMBER so it gets shipped to them for nothing. Its part of my membership. This is the largest size at 48â which obviously is equal to 4â and I would hope its going to be usable for a long while.

Best Kennels you could buy!
As a AKC Golden Retriever breeder that has 4 large dogs I find these Kennels to be well worth the price and of the best quality. Not only that but they are very sturdy stable and was easy to put together. My first thought was to get the largest one for all my dogs but when I saw how big it was I really only needed 1 for my male . I went with the smaller size down for my girls . They found they have enough space to lay fully with dishes and a small water bottle but in the pictures you donât see them cause they tore them up. Anyway one of my wheels broke during a cleanup and customer service quickly sent me a replacement set . It could have been my fault due to a rocky floor or perhaps a bad wheel . However they were quick to help me I greatly appreciate wonderful customer service these days. I most definitely recommend this product I feel itâs the best you could buy.

Solid, easy to put together
I love that it rolls. Made very well, but it is big and heavy. I put a kong dog bed in there for my dog to lay on. Large enough for me to get in.
