Quality leash that’s easy to use
Did not get my hopes up on this one since I only needed a “slip” leash to bring puppy home from foster. I had also bought another “traditional” leash to use in yard for potty training and while in the kitchen during playtime. Turns out, this leash is far better and easier for the puppy to wear and walk in. Its round instead of flat and made very well. I am going to purchase another one to keep in the SUV. Best leash Ive ever used and great value!

    Good Quality Slip Lead
I love this Slip Lead. This is not an actual Dog Leash though. I saw some reviews from people who may not have been sure of what they were actually purchasing. This is a Slip Lead, which means there is no clip on the end to attach to a collar or harness. This item works great for training, if you need to move a dog that may not be listening, or doesn’t have a collar on. I work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. This works amazing while moving dog groups from room to room, or yard to room, etc. Some dogs are more stubborn and/or may have collar shyness, which can lead to the dog re-directing on or at you. Dogs are more willing to follow and listen when using this lead. It just slips right on over there head and the moving tabs secure it safely on the dogs neck, then slips right back off when needed. This is the best quality for the price I could find, and I did a lot of searching. Comes in a variety of colors which is nice as well. I’ve been using it for over a month, basically daily, have put it through the washer once, and it still looks practically new. Very Durable. I wouldn’t recommend hot drying though, I just let it hang dry.

  3. Jason Gabler

Very well made. Sturdy with good features.
Very well made leash. It has choke-stop clip! I have two other slips which do not have this, so I was happy to see this. Be aware that the 1/2″ version is very thick and sturdy. It’s more like a leash you’d use for a verys strong 80lbs+ dog. I returned it for the 3/8″ version that made a lot more sense for my 25lb labradoodle.

Really well made. A little “slick.”
My rating: 4 starsPowder’s rating: 5 stars. This is the best tug-of-war/chew rope dad has ever bought.I’m giving this four stars based on the superb design and construction, with a small ding for material type. I think for 99% of dog owners out there who are dedicated to training their dogs into well behaved members of the family, this is a great lead in responsible hands, and very likely a 5 star product for most folks.Part of the excellent design, is a safety ring, which prevents over-tightening, something I wish my current go-to had, along with a leather “stop” to prevent the lead from becoming lose and allowing smart puppers from backing out.My 1 star deduction: I did find the lead material a little “slick”. Even with it positioned at high neck, Powder was able to pull enough when breaking his heel, to slide it in my hands. This made the correction sloppy. I found myself having to focus on really gripping the lead to prevent the slip and that of course resulted in a pretty stiff arm, which is the opposite of what I’d like. You can give the lead a single wrap around your hand to prevent the slip, I’d just prefer not to do that.Training side note: Powder is a 70lb Husky mix, and like most of them, is a hard and heavy puller. Putting him in a harness would be the short path to getting flopped over and dragged through the dirt. He’s also displayed severe leash anxiety at odd times and I suspect a lack of training from his original owners. So, I was a little nervous about the initial introduction to this, but to my surprise he took to this lead straight away. Zero anxiety, and I was able to bring him into a pretty relaxed heel very quickly. If you have a “puller”, I think this lead is definitely worth testing.

    Just plain good
Good materials, good length, holds up well in the wash, just generally feels and looks high quality. I’d say to go for 1/3 inch leash if you have a dog <45 pounds, and 1/2 inch for anything >45. I work at a Doggy Daycare and the 1/2 inch looks a little silly on the smaller/younger pups (and looks downright hilarious on the Yorkies etc).I have a pittie and Husky at home, and it works great for them as well. Will likely buy a few more in the future so i can rotate them through the washer everyday 🙂

I’m so happy to have ordered this easy to use, v sturdy leash- works beautifully!

A Great quality Slip Lead for many different dogs
I’m a Dog Walker and a Pet Sitter so I needed a simple slip lead to help me handle many different kinds of dogs during my work. I handled a lot of leashes over the years trust me this is the best leash slip lead I’ve seen on the market. The handle is very comfortable and it isn’t awkward to hold even with one hand I feel like I have a firm grip on the dog without fears of it getting loose due to the leather lock.I also love the thoughtfulness of the metal clip that prevents chocking as this often happens with some of my stubborn pullers I have had so far on this on walks. The leash doesn’t stretch which is perfect for training your dog not pull with the right techniques. I tested this leash on a pocket bully so far that’s a stubborn puller and so far within just two days he’s 60% better (granted I’m educated in the right methods to use such as positive reinforcement and pain-free techniques to discourage it but the leash made a SIGNIFICANT difference then if I was to use a regular leash and collar)

  8. Day’O

    Well made
Although this lead is well made, I believe it caused damage to one of my dogs throats. The veterinarian said it could’ve been something that he had inhaled while walking such as a Foxtel however, today we went for a walk using the lead and he did pull like he usually does and now the lump in his throat is back again and it’s as big as it was before the operation. Probably my fault for using it so soon after he had the initial lump lanced, but if your dog pulls a lot, I’m not sure if this is the right lead.

Me encanta ese sistema porque es mas seguro , solo me hubiera gustado que la cuerda fuera mas gruesa para que no dañe al perro
