With the price, not really supported by the manufacturer
The performance of the door is unparalleled, the ease of installation is a cinch, I would say if you’ve ever worked on your home before this should be no problem. A couple of things to take in to consideration is the size of your dog, the area you’re going to install it in, and to make sure there’s no plumbing, electrical, gas, etc where you plan to install. As far as the constitution, the product is well made, easy to adjust to the wall thickness, the magnet strength is impressive, strong enough to keep monsoon winds and rain out, yet ready enough for my 100 pound and even my 15 pound dog to push through. The flaps are adequate to keep the warm, cold, and inclement weather out, but still pliable enough for a small or large dog to easily egress through.Again the size, I have a 100 pound dog who is wide chested and tall. He had no issues coming through the door in or out.The door i received had a substantial chip in it, making one side non-functional. As per all the labels and papers in the box stated “don’t return to the store” and “for missing or broken parts, contact us.”So I did, the response was less than customer centric, even after proving the purchase through receipt and a picture of the damage, the answer was simple; return it to the store. So I returned the one from here and ultimately had to purchase it from another box store nearby at a higher price.I am happy with the door, I just wish that the manufacturer wouldn’t put all that paper in the box saying that they’ll help just reach out and don’t return. But that’s the way the world is now I guess.

Clean install and looks great
The package arrived well protected and the instructions were easy to follow. The install aligned perfectly and our dog loves his new freedom that comes with the door. We love not needing to get up and let him in and out a dozen times a day. Great product and it is actually an attractive door when installed.

Installed in cinder block wall, seals well
I put this in my cinder block wall with drywall framed inside the house. That was a lot of work, but, my dog absolutely loves it. It seals really well with the two flaps, so even this winter with wind and everything it has been solid. Great product, with a great span.

Works Great
I installed it this week… It’s a lot of work to install on a stucco exterior wall and I did have to cut into some 2×4’s in the wall. I verified with a city building inspector friend of mine who said it was ok to do that. The instructions were easy to follow. I bought the extra large size for a young male bull terrier that they claim could get up to 80 pounds. I only wanted to install this once :)I used a little WD-40 on the outside of the interior piece so it would slide in and out easier because you have to take it apart a few times during installation and it is tight.I’d hate to think what it would cost me to hire out the job. I purchased a Skil 8 Amp 5″ angle grinder and a 4 1/2″ diamond blade to cut the stucco opening. That worked well.

Sturdy pet door
We replaced a door with a wall and added this pet door where the old combination door/pet door used to be.The door instructions are clear, and the provided template made it fairly easy for someone with home repair experience to install the door. The door comes with a flap at each end and the flap usually stays closed, even when it is windy.Or two dogs did have some trouble transitioning to the new door. Our small dog was slightly reluctant to use the old “screen door with flap” door and has refused to use the more tunnel-like new door through the well. Our larger dog became more reluctant, so we removed the inner flap which helped our older dog.I don’t think it is the dog door’s fault the wall is thicker, so the “tunnel” through the wall also has to be thicker, so there is a risk that your dog may not like this style of dog door.

No response
We got this and had it installed and loved it, but the flap shrunk, we ordered the replacements for our size door and they were too short! I returned and contacted the company with no response very disappointing
