    My Dog’s New Favorite Treat
I recently purchased Charlee Bear Original Dog Treats, Turkey Liver & Cranberries, 16 oz, and I couldn’t be happier with the product. More importantly, my dog absolutely loves them!First off, the ingredient list is impressive. With turkey liver and cranberries as the main components, I feel good knowing I’m giving my furry friend a treat that’s not only delicious but also nutritious. There are no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors, which is a big plus for me.The size and texture of the treats are perfect. They are small enough for training purposes, but still substantial enough to satisfy my dog’s cravings. The crunchy texture also helps keep his teeth clean, which is an added bonus. What really stands out is how much my dog enjoys these treats. The moment I open the bag, he comes running with excitement. It’s clear that he finds the flavor irresistible, and I appreciate that they’re low in calories so I can give him a few extra without worrying about his weight. The packaging is also convenient. The resealable bag keeps the treats fresh, and the 16 oz size is great value for the price.Overall, Charlee Bear Original Dog Treats have quickly become a staple in our household. If you’re looking for a healthy, tasty, and affordable treat for your dog, I highly recommend giving these a try. Your pup will thank you!

    Great training treats
I have an Australian Cattle Dog and was looking to expand my training treat options, particularly to a dry crunchy treat with low calorie content.I can be really sensitive to smells, and many meaty-smelling treats make me queasy. I also find freeze-dried treats to be weirdly chalky feeling and they leave residue on my fingers. I am fine with most chewy treat textures, but they are often higher in calories and don’t do well for long periods of time outside the package. If you have some sensory sensitivities, this may relate to you. These treats altogether have a faint aroma and are a great small size/ low calorie content for training. They are crunchy and dry so there is no issue with them getting weird by drying out if you leave some out of the package like chewy treats do. They have the dry, not chalky texture of a tiny biscuit, but are much less dense than most biscuits- they have a light crunchy feel, and sound like your dog is eating a Goldfish cracker. They are more firm than a Goldfish cracker though, and do not crumble.I got the chicken soup flavor and the cheese and egg flavor to try out.The chicken soup one smells faintly like dusty chicken or chicken broth. It is not offensively dead smelling but it does smell faintly dead. Doesn’t turn my stomach but I wouldn’t pick it if there were better options available. Still much better aroma than most other meat treats, and if this was the only flavor I would probably continue to buy it.The cheese and egg flavor smells faintly of cheesy crackers. One of the better treat smells I have smelled, and totally free of that “dead smell” that meat-containing treats usually have- of course it has no meat in it, just cheese and egg. I don’t notice an egg smell at all. I would actually consider putting these in my pocket and not just a treat pouch or a bowl. From my end of things, this is a really good treat. The cheese flavor has a nice smell, they have a nice crunch sound when my dog eats them, and the size is perfect. As for my dog’s opinion: in side by side comparisons of these two flavors, even if I switch hands, she picks the cheese flavor every time. 🤝Dogs respond more to stronger smells, though, so when I did a side my side comparison of the cheese flavor with Wonder Nuggets peanut butter flavor, which smell strongly of peanut butter, she picked those. Even if I held the peanut butter treat far away and put the Charlee Bear treat right in front of her muzzle, she reached for the peanut butter nugget. The Charlee Bear treats are more convenient (because of their size and because they are dry and don’t leave behind a residue), lower price/ better value, and lower calories than the Wonder Nuggets, and if the only treat around is the Charlee Bear treat, my dog has no qualms obsessing over them. Because they have such a faint scent, maybe some dogs would not find them interesting.I would probably like a stronger smell with the cheese flavor, but on the flip side, I am glad the chicken flavor is not strong smelling. They are not special enough for a special moment treat, but I would give these a shot in the surprise boxes I make by putting treats into crumpled lunch bags and putting those crumpled balls into a cracker-type box. I usually use stronger smelling treats for those so the faint smell would possibly make them harder to find.Overall I think these are great training treats!

perfect for treat puzzle toys, small size, light weight, crunchy, low cal, doggos approved
A friend of mine buys these for her dog, and so I wanted to get some for my dogs. The lower calorie aspect is appreciated, and my 2 dogs (of 3) love having a handful of these in their treat puzzle toys. I’ve already put in an order for more. I like that the price is reasonable and that the size of bag makes it so I a not running out too quickly. Also makes for good reward and training treats. Lightweight, gentle crunch, low cal, and seems like a good brand.

These are great for training. Only 3 cal per treat and my dogs really like them.

    MADE IN THE USA!
I am particular about what my Lab eats and look for USA-made products. These are that and a family-owned company. Thank you! I have been giving Charlee Bear treats over many years to all three Labs I have owned. The flavor varieties are great, original crunch or grain-free options. The treats are small and only 3 calories each so not a lot of fat / calories for your Pup! Can be used any time to reward, and are excellent for training as well — a handful in your pocket is perfect for rewarding commands on a training walk or other activity. These are the only treats my Lab gets (other than fresh crispy green beans). Charlee Bear Treats are a good value and always fresh. l highly recommend and once you determine your use, you can save $ by setting up a subscription delivery schedule.

    These are the BEST!
My puppy would sell his soul for these! They were originally intended as training treats. Let me tell you when the treat jar comes out with these it is an instant sit and a tail wag. I like that the ingredients are of good quality, low calorie and easy for him to chew. They are nice and soft kind of like a people cracker but my dog will do anything to get one! Great variety available for flavors as well. I will be purchasing more on a regular basis for sure! Puppy approved!

I dog sit for friends and give them their regular treats.Amazon allows me to stock up on favourite treats of each dog. Most of these treats are not available in local stores.

Great little treats that you can give your dog without the worry of them gaining weight. My dog expects treats for any reason. And I freely admit that she gets a lot of treats in a day.

  12. Gerry O

Great healthy treats, but would be better if sold in 16oz bags.Safe
