Easy installation
Love this double panel door! Easy installation and itâs great for my 110lb pup! Only issue is the closing flap. He busted right through it and I need to find a replacement.

Great Door
I am well please with the door. I have had the door several months so let me tell you all. I give it an A. I got it because I acquired a rescue that was extremely obese and my regular pet door, that I had, would not accommodate her. Now, the slightly bad: The door is not quite, which does not bother me because I close the door so the dogs do not go in and out all night. 2. The magnets are super strong which closes GOOD! 2 weeks after I installed it, 2 of the magnets came off and it still closed great. 3. There is a piece of material, in the center top of the door, for you to grip and pull the door up to let the doors out. I gripped the material, pulled up and the material came loose from the door. The extra large door flew into the air and came down with force and hit the floor (not my foot, thank God) and bent the corner of the door. So I have to put the door in the slots, upside down, to make it work. These were minor things, all in all, but MAKE SURE you fix the material so it will not come loose.

Dog still learning
Love this door! It looks sleek, shuts well and keeps out cold air. However, my dog who was used to a flap style door, is still struggling with it, especially coming back in. Here is my question: “Why are the doors tinted?” looks almost clear from the inside but like a solid dark surface from the outside. So from the dogs perspective not safe to push it open to come back in. I’ll give it a little more time since he is now using it ok to go out. Will update later.Update: Doggie finally got the hang of it. Took over two weeks. Had to hold the door open and coax him to come through. Next step: I attached a leash and fed it through the opening and guided him through it (gently). He is not food motivated so treats didn’t seem to do the trick. Eventually he graduated! Yay!

My pets can be quite rough at times, and the previous plastic door didn’t last long under their impact. However, this aluminum alloy pet door can easily withstand their rough treatment. Dont waste your money*
Update edit*: yeah dont waste your money on this door if you live in a a cold area. The doors regularly stay open. Designer laziness or cheap execution. They Could have made the doors close reliably very easily. Dont waste your money. Look elsewhere for a dog door. Reducing to one star. -1 star if I could.Origunal review:This door seemed really good at first. But after installing, one side regularly stays open a little. Not always, but often enough that it will be an issue. Its starting to get cold and winter is coming on. I live in the far North so having one door stay part open is unacceptable. I bought some strong magnets I plan on mounting in hopes thay help the doors close all the way more consistently. If that doesnt work ill try somekind of springs or something. Other than that they could have made these close more reliably fairly easily and didnt. I dont think i would buy again.

No drafts at all, and it’s December in Ontario, my large 110 pound Shephard can fit through. The magnets are strong but my cat uses it too so… It is loud when it closes but it’s more important to keep our heat in than to have a silent door. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you live with shared walls as it would disrupt your neighbour for sure.

Very sturdy, really keeps the weather out! The magnets are really, really strong. The door has never stuck open or twisted. A perfect âlockâ every time. Lots of pets here – one dog and one cat were very quick to get used to it. My other dog and cat were a little longer. It is quite hard to push open, but once they trust it, even cats can get in and out. Very pleased with this purchase

Doors are great except when the sun shines on them. Early morning sun swells the pet door frame and the doors will not close after dog goes through

This product is poor quality. The flap warps, the flap cracks. They do not respond to questions. If you have winter conditions this is not a product that will work
