Me bad. bought it for my son but he didn’t want to put in the back door. He wanted one for the wall. Returned.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
We paid the higher price tag because the description said “indestructible” & high quality but it’s absolute garbage. We had it installed end of October and the panels broke within a week. The screws holding the flaps constantly out and my dog stepped on it. We have tried everything to fix this and Amazon won’t return it because it’s over 30 days since purchase and there’s no way to contact the seller regarding the warranty. VERY FRUSTRATING. Definitely wasted $

Well-made, doggie door
This doggie door is well-made and very durable. It looks like it will keep the rodents out, but let the dogs out too. It comes with everything you need even the template to cut the door opening. This doggie door will fit very large dogs definitely worth the money

Strong wind can blow open
Updateâ¦. The magnets are strong and door works very well except for with strong winds. Think about placement when installing. If we had been able to put on another side I donât think weâd have same issue.Initial input. Really happy until wind picked up today (installed 2 days). Flaps blew open into house leaving lots of cold air.

Very heavy duty…
I’m planning to replace my old dog door with this new one today… I wanted to show the difference since this dog door is awesome, super heavy duty metal plate and two panels to keep the cold air out. My dogs have always had free run of my property, but with it being so cold lately, I have been having to keep the dog door closed, with this awesome two panel dog door, I can leave it open all day and they can come and go as they please. I know it rates for up to about 220 lbs, but I have already tried it just sitting by the door and my 300 lb Saint Bernard and 140 lb Doobie have no problems going in and out. Awesome door for sure.

I have two dog doors. One comes out of the outside wall of the house into what looks like a dog house (pictured here). I live in Northern Ontario and my old dog door was starting to lose heat in the winter even with new flaps. An insulated dog house was built and connected in front of the existing dog door that comes from the house. This was build to conserve heat. I am very impressed with this new dog door. The double flaps are thick and well made. The magnets pull the flaps tight. The flaps are dark though. My dogs are used to a dog door however, because these flaps are dark the dogs did have a short adjustment period. All in all I was very impressed. The unit is sturdy and if you are handy it’s not hard to install. The hardest part is making the hole in whatever location you decide to put the door. It even looks good 🙂 I purchased the extra large and I have a Siberian Huskey and a Shepherd mix. A much larger breed would fit fine.

Seems like a well built easy to install unit. My dog likes it. Only had it a couple weeks so time will tell if the door flaps stand up to the cold weather. So far so good.

Itâs been installed for 4 days. Itâs already broke and I canât find a replacement flap the right size.
And Rogo –
Itâs been up for about two monthsâ¦we close it off at night so nothing comes in but also because we hit -20/-45 during winterâ¦itâs decent in regular cold but def not for extreme Canadian cold..but, it does hold its magnetic connection so far with a big berner going in and out all day.

Bought this to replace a large Petsafe extreme weather door which had worn out and never sealed well. Wife felt we needed an XL extreme weather door for our five different sized dogs. The sealing system looked promising. This door does not seal well. The magnets on the side work ok but the brush strips on the frame do not protrude enough creating a gap which lets air in. The clear window is great if you have more than one dog. Installation was easy. The slide in panel works much better than the push on style. Overall, I do not recommend this door for northern climates (Canada). A friend has a Freedom pass door. I should have spent the money (double!) and got that.
