I like the short strap leash that the leash starts with and then the corded leash. 30 feet is great for a walk in the park. The shorter section is great for street walking.

Trash trash trash trash. Read the other reviews to learn about this is the low quality product you are buying. Broke DURING FIRST USE! It claimed for 77lbs. It was connected to the harness of a 40 pound 6 month old golden retriever puppy. The first 15 min walk in the park was great, then when my pup ran to a tree it Broke. The lock was on and this cheap rope just snapped. BEWARE, if this happened around a busy street or some aggressive dogs, yours could be hurt or worse.In summary: waste of money, do not buy, stay away from seller, take a risk of the rope snapping and your dog running into a busy street.Check my pics to see the device was brand new.. no scratches or wear and tear.. just taken out of the box and used once.I was told my return window is Oct 24 but I won’t be back to usa till December. So amazon wins and ec.teak wins since they took my money…

Still leashing after 1 yr
My dog loves his 30′ circle of freedom when walking. Having a nose led dog means you’re not going straight always. Sometimes the edges of the woods are involved. This is my 2nd retractable leash from ECTeak. Both the 26′ and 30′ are equally built well. I have yet to get it tangled on itself or plant life. Locking the length while retracted helps maintain control.

Good length for dogs to have a run when can’t be trusted off lead.Sturdy handle and lead with part reflective strip. Not heavy to carry about, easy mechanism.

This leash is very light. I was curious about why some of the reviews mentioned it was heavy. You people may need to use your arms more 🙂 As to the size of the handle, I love it! I donât have big hands but I do wear big gloves in the winter and I love that my big warm gloves can fit through the handle. Without gloves on⦠the size of the handle it isnât even an issue. Itâs not like it gets in the way of holding the leash.When it comes to the functionality, I love the cord better than the ribbon. This retracts and recoils so smooth and fast that I can barely even feel it. And I think it goes the same with my dog because I think he thinks heâs off leash.Anyway, so far so good. Because the leash is so light, I hope the quality of the internals are strong and that this will last. I will update this review after using this leash for a while.
