Stinky but delicious
I have two mini schnauzers that are 7 yrs old. When we first got them the breeder gave us the dog food that they feed their dogs. Well after a few days of the worst smelling farts and poo we have ever smelt, we thought something was wrong with them so we took them to the vet. Yes , it was that bad. So bad that one dog farted a few mins before the vet walked into the exam room and she thought that they had pooped! And that we put it into the trash can so she called for one of the assistants to come take the trash out because it smelled so bad in there. We had to tell her that it was just a fart and that’s why we were there. She laughed and said it’s time to change their food. She recommended the schnauzer food because they are prone to dry skin and pancreatitis. They have been eating this food ever since. We have had no more digestive problems and they both have healthy shiny coats. One of the dogs still get a bit of dry skin but we just put a bit of olive oil in with his and after a week it gets better. The food does stink really bad though. We also put about a weeks worth into Tupper ware to help keep it fresh until the end of the bag.

We have a white miniature schnauzer, sheâs 7 years old and she has a lot of sensitivities and allergies, itâs been very tough finding her a diet that works. A lot of great products out there are either hard to find or just too expensive and have small portions.Coming from a middle class family, I can say that this is affordable and lasts long enough to justify the price. We have been buying this product regularly for over a year now.The price is convenient as it lasts us about two months, our dog loves it, and this is a reputable brand. Her coat is nice and shiny (not perfect), occasionally sheâll have a break out but we write it off to seasonal allergies which we are currently enduring, so we supplement her lifestyle with hypoallergenic shampoos and other products.Something else worth noting, with previous diet attempts, she would either gain or lose an uncomfortable amount of weight and Royal Canin has helped her maintain an ideal weight (maybe just above average but thatâs because a certain someone in the household who shall remain unnamed feeds her from the table occasionally).

Excellent Breed Specific Dry Dog Food
On our veterinarianâs recommendation, we have been feeding our schnauzer Royal Canin breed specific dry dog food since he outgrew Royal Canin puppy food. When I asked the veterinarian about food supplements or vitamins, he said the kibble alone contained all the nutrients our dog needs. Our dog likes the food and has had no issues tolerating it.
