Works and Creates Consistent Great Habits!
Not only does this product calm my hyper dog down but itâs creating long lasting habits of calmness! It even works when my dog isnât on a calming sticks now! This is a dream come true for us as we spent almost $2k, precovid, on private training lessons only to learn that our dog got better with training but we found he is untrainable, which is likely how we got a purebred Britany spaniel for free! These calming sticks have been great for our dog and OUR sanity!! The dopamine is the active ingredient and we have noticed the hemp oil has given our dog a shinier coat as well. This is a just a Wow product!!

Calms my very energetic 1 year old German Shepherd
I bought these calming treats to help calm my 1 year old German Shepherd for her first long trip with me (300+ miles). My girl is normally super energetic and super anxious when it comes to new experiences, and these helped her calm down on both the way to, and on the way back, from your destination.She was sleepy and relaxed, I gave her the recommended amount for her weight (3 sticks). She really loved the flavor and ate them immediately!

Dogs Like It. Mild Calming Effect, No Side Effects
Both of my dogs like these!I use this for my 2 small / medium dogs. One had mild separation anxiety after the pandemic and the other is a rescue dog who is cautious and anxious about everything: playing with his brother, jumping up onto the couch with us, going for a walk outside, etc.These have helped them to be more calm without seeming sedated or drugged in any way.I have noticed they are less clingy, less weird about things, more relaxed, and more likely to play together when I give them these treats.TLDR: not a miracle drug, you still have to train your dog, BUT mild calming effect, and importantly-no negative side effects

1 good bag & 1 bad bag.. hit or miss
I purchase 2 bags of these calming sticks.. the first bag.. AMAZING. Worked so well. We would give our puppy one every night right at bed time and she would go right to sleep. We gave her a few to work on during a 18 hour car ride (yes we broke it up.. weâre not cruel) and they kept her calm and relaxed the whole way. The second bag.. not so great. They messed her poor little tummy up so bad. We went a week without knowing what was making her so sick and when we finally figured it out we cut out these sticks and within a day she was fine but she was up every hour on the hour sometimes even more often with a messed up tummy. My poor baby got so sick. I loved the first bag but not the second.. so thatâs why they get 3 stars. Itâs a hit or miss I think. But you may want to stay on the safe side and just skip these.

They actually work to calm!
I use Zesty Paws OraStix for a “treat before bed” – my Leela loves them. I break a stick into two pieces and then place them in different places around the bedroom – when she comes in from her last “Pee” I tell her to find them and she loves that . The Zesty Paws OraStix really do work at calming her and helping her settle down for the night – they are also great for her breath! I used to buy all sorts of different treats but these are the only ones we use now for bedtime.

My dog is a 25 pound Sheltie. He has been given these chews almost every night for about a year. Last night this all has changed.We had a serious close call last night. We give our boy a zesty paws treat every night before bed to help with dental cleaning. It also has a calming affect. Been doing it for a year, no problems. But last night he started choking on it and he wasn’t breathing. He was thrashing around and I thought we were losing him. I tried reaching into his throat to see if I could remove it. Couldn’t. Frantically I tried doing what could only be considered the Heimlich maneuver. Somehow eventually he dislodged it but it got stuck sideways between his teeth, but at least he was able to now breathe. My daughter the vet tech arrived and we all held him so she could reach in and pull it out. You could tell he was so relieved…. And so were we. Be careful of these hard chewable treats. Never had a problem before but now I’m scared to death to give him anymore unless I cut it into a much smaller piece. Anyways, Mika is still here and fine this morning â¥ï¸. I doubt that I will ever give these to him again.** So, since this unfortunate incident I’ve been breaking the treats into 1/4 pieces. Now give them this size to both of our Shelties. They do love the treats and they definitely help them stay relaxed and help the sleep. So glad that it did work out… Just be vigilant !

Dog will not eat these at all. Ive tried breaking them up, smothering them in her fave wet food but no go. She will take it in her mouth and spit them out. She will eat other dental sticks, so I think maybe the taste or texture is putting her off. Disappointing as I now have a whole bag that I can’t use.
