Dog Nail Grinder Trimmer
This was a pleasant surprise in that the “grinder” rotating snad-paper like trimmer wheel is quiet and very efficient, so efficient I think Amazon needs to look at this for old, disabled, people – like me – who have terrible experiences trying to cut toe-nails so you can put on compression socks or any basic leg ware. To get a pedicure from even the most proficient salons is excruciatingly painful even from an experienced person. Trying to trim your own feet is very difficult and usually ends up cutting into the toes whch requires days to heal. Going for ingrown toe-nail repair work means weeks in a cast or wraps keeping you from excercising or using a pool. So my old dog and I, two old Marine dogs, can share this device as we are by ourselves in care and have to find all kinds of alternative tools and methods. Amazon helps a lot because they can get you products in days while the VA and medical programs take weeks. Nail trimming is essential for all old dogs – K-9 and human, so this product really opened my eyes and provided me with a great relief of pain all while helping me trim nasty grown toes from my dog who is passing 17 now.

I really like this pet nail grinder. I have done all 4 paws on 3 big dogs on one charge. I believe it will do all 3 at least one more time before needing to be charged again. It charges via an included USB cable. The cable is rather short, but it gets the job done. It does not come with a charger, but any 5 Volt USB charger with a USB A port, will work to charge the tool. The manufacturer recommends an 8 hour charge time for a full charge. There are 3 different grinding heads that range from light grinding to heavy grinding. The head I use on my dogs is the heavy one, as shown in my video. I purchased a dog nail grinder many years ago when they first came on the market. Those cost more than this one and was terribly under powered. This one costs less and works 100% better than those old battery powered ones. This motor in this one is whisper quiet. The only noise that you hear is from the grinding head doing it’s job on your fur baby’s toenails.It also come with a nail trimmer. I found that I don’t need the nail trimmer because, the grinder does a great job without clipping the nails first. Over the years, I have used a Dremel tool with a guard I made, but it was noisy and my dogs didn’t like it. I have a standard size Poodle and 2 standard size Bernedoodles. I used this grinder on all 3 today and saved a nail on the Poodle to show in my video. I highly recommend this great tool and wish I had thought of it first. ð¥°

Works great! One of my dogs has black nails so trimming is scary. This grinder works great, is super quiet, and my dogs don’t mind the feeling of it too much. Wear a mask while you grind though!!

Great nail grinder with accessories and a 2 year warranty.
I have a dachshund and I have always trimmed his nails myself since he came to live here at 8 weeks old. He was several years old before I tried him out with a nail grinder, but he took to it nicely. His old one was not keeping a charge to well anymore, so I found this one with accessories included for replacing the old one.These are so easy to use. I usually use the clipper that is included with the set to trim the nails to the length I want for him and then use the grinder to smooth away all the sharpness a fresh clipping leaves on the nails. This set includes the nail clipper, 3 grinding wheels of varying hardness, a charging cable, a drawstring pouch for storing it all, and of course the grinder. The grinder has 3 speeds and two LED lights to help with seeing so as to not get the nails too short. The grinder always has a digital display to show how much charge is left of the battery. The lights have a button to turn them on / off as needed.All around, this grinder with the accompanying accessories is quite nice, works very well and I can certainly recommend it. There is a 2 year warranty for the grinder.
