    Great for little short-haired dogs
This does take out hair but I mainly purchased it for my 13 yr old chihuahua who has no more teeth. He can’t groom himself without teeth. I know what it’s like to have an itch and not be able to scratch it or, dogs prefer to bite the itch. He LOVES the massage. Rolls around all happy and appears greatful:) PLUS..Great bonding time. Perfect for my needs.

    Good Scrub & Easy
This brush is great for spreading shampoo over your dog’s fur. I introduced my dog to the brush and he loved it! One downside is the brush sometimes slipped off my hands while scrubbing, but nothing too bad. I can tighten it and it stays on. My dog has short fur, so the brush removes the loose fur. I haven’t tried on a dog that has longer fur, so it might not work well on those dogs. So I’ll say that this brush is great for scrubbing the dog while shampooing and maybe even petting the dog.

    Great for short hair dogs!
My Beagle doesn’t like to be brushed. I’ve tried 2 different kinds of dog brushes with her & neither has she enjoyed the experience. That changed with this gem Lilpep Hair Brush I’ve found. It’s the perfect size for my hand-average female. It’s easy to assemble the back to the perfect position to hold my hand in firmly. Once it’s buckled in I no longer need to adjust that. It stays in place in my hand & doesn’t slide off. I’ve also learned to hold it in a particular way to prevent that from happening while brushing her. The bristles are soft but firm enough to collect her hair. She lays there & acts as if it’s more of a massage rather than the ordeal she thought of when I would try to brush her before. It captures a lot of hair! I now brush her morning & night with no issues at all. I feel this especially works well on short haired dogs. The hair stays firmly in place in the brush & it’s super easy to wipe out with my hand. What a wonderful brush at such a low cost. I never thought this would’ve worked so well but I am surely glad it did! I haven’t used it in the bath yet but I can foresee it adding to the shampooing process & cleansing her much better. I highly recommend!

    They could be great but…….
I was excited to use these. My very first use they slid off immediately. They were very hard to grasp to do the scrubbing. If you have a dog with allot of hair they are almost impossible to hold on to. I was pissed. I did use them a second time and it was a little better but I don’t know if I will keep using them. I didn’t think strap being rubber would be hard to deal with when you have soap and water. It’s like sliding around in a wet flip flop.

    BUY THESE for OINTMENT APPLECATION
I bought these since they’re really dull spikes, which I needed to really get some skin medicine into my dog’s coat to treat a hotspot he was only making worse. These are perfect, also, the hand thing goes large enough to accommodate even large male hands. I don’t have that, I’m 3.5in in palm width, not the average 4in. I could easily see this fitting a 5in width hand. which is rare to see.The nubs on this is great for massaging dogs, and lotion application, if your dog has dry coat or needs ointment massaged into his/her skin. Both my male and female large dogs loved it. Does nothing for removing fur. SORT of worked on my Zelda, but she’s a continual shedder, so it only grabs the bits of fur sitting on the surface. Where as my Trapper is a seasonal shedder and it grabbed ZERO hairs. Though it also makes these great for bathing as well. Really helps get that soap to the skin, so if you’re using medicated anti-fungal/itch soap, it’s a lot easier to massage. Can put both on both hands and it really speeds up the process. I didn’t notice any gripping issues, being rubber-like, so it wasn’t pulling the hairs at all; which for my Zelda is an issue since she’s a medium length hair girl. Trapper has nothing really to grip since he’s a short haired Foxhound. Zelda is a lab mix with also fine hair as well. Trapper is more standard dog hair thickness.Do I recommend this? YES, since I have some others that don’t have the adjustable straps and are clearly made with lady’s hands in mind since my fat male hands don’t fit them comfortably. They’re also SUPER EASY to keep and stay clean as well. Even if your dog does blow out their coat like a Husky. You’ll easily be able to pull the hair out from between the nubs.

    Lilpep Pet Shampoo Bath Brush
Really helps bathe my pups, helps my pups shampoo suds up nicely much better than hands alone. Helps get loose hair off of them too, as well as All the dirt. Worth the buy. I really like the colors, and the adjustable strap it can be fitted to my hand great to get more effective cleaning.

What a great hand held cleaner/scratcher for my dog. She loves bath time and I feel like I get more suds with these scratchy devices. They initially slipped off but then I realized you just pull it in and tighten it. Easy peasy – bathing is easy.

  10. Gray

Really good product. Our very skittish Bombay is comfortable with it as you can hide it in your hand and we managed to get enough undercoat to make at least another cat. Nice and gentle as well.

  11. A Targett

It’s a good product for dog with long hair. I tried it on my husky and it doesn’t work as well as with the labrador.

  12. Troy

Good but a little hard to keep on hand. But does get shampoo moving thru coat great.

  13. Amazon Customer

They kept slipping off of my hands,I only used them once as they are no help what so ever.
