Nice Leather leash
I’ve never owned a leather leash and kept reading good reviews about the feel of leather compared to nylon leashes. Now I can agree! I’ve only used it a few days, but it’s much softer on the hands. I don’t think I’d go back to a nylon leash again. The clip on this leash seems nice and sturdy. The braided areas look nice.

I waited seven months to write this review because it was so nice, I didnât want to jinx it by saying how good it was before putting to the test. Itâs just as beautiful as the day I bought it. The leather is soft and supple. It is raw leather on the back, polished on the front with beautiful, strong stitching at the hook and handle. It has a brass hook.It is strong.

These are the first impressions after using this leash for about four weeks.The leash is a 3/4â wide. My dog is a powerful Italian Mastiff/American Bulldog cross, about 95lb. During previous 16 years I bought two braided leather leashes. They were recommended by a dog trainer. They were excellent quality, expensive, each lasting about 8 years. My previous dog was a Boxer, 70lb. I like leather because itâs soft and gentle in my hands. My wife likes them also for the same reason. There are no pins or threads to come apart. This leash looks very well made, was pleasantly surprised by the thickness and softness of the leather. Did not notice it stretching any more than my previous leashes. I donât use heavy physical corrections , so a little stretch is not an issue. Overall I like the leash. It appears to be a good quality and good looking product. I would buy it again. I hope it will last for a while.
