Totally worth the money. Fits my 28lb frenchie well. Very solid and sturdy. Does not sag. The wall of the bed is made of hard, solid foam for sturdiness. Great quality material. Washable. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone with a heavy French bulldog. She loves it! Itâs so comfy and secure.

Update: 2/23/2022 – I still LOVE this car seat and it is still in perfect condition. My girl passed away though and since then I have added two boys to our family who are using her seat and another one that I purchased for the second pooch. I have them both in the back seat and both love it. One boy is 23 lbs and the other is 30 lbs. and a longer dog. They both curl right up in it and go to sleep and love it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND – STILL!!I had to wait before I reviewed this item – sometimes I am too quick and have to modify – but I am sure at this point, when I say this is an amazing Booster Pet Seat.My dog is a Beagle who gets anxiety and motion sickness when she travels with me – long or short trips. She jumps in my lap which is dangerous for us both, she cries and tries to jump on the dash to see where she is going and probably to help with motion sickness. She wanders all over the car which makes it dirty and covered with hair and scratches various areas as she climbs.That said – I searched for an answer and found this booster seat. I had a hard time choosing because they all looked great, but this choice was based on the following: Color/material so it would be easy to clean and blend with my car upholstery, safety because I wanted her buckled in while I drive (and for my safety as well, keeping her in place), height so she could see out the windows, comfort so she would take to the seat, frame because I wanted it to hold up and become “her seat” where she could rest her head on the edges or curl up inside it like a cave (she loves to sleep on the edges of my couches and crushes them with her weigh (she’s heavy at 34 lbs for a Beagle). I GOT IT ALL!! It’s easy to install and move, fits in my bucket seat perfectly (I got a large so she would have plenty of room), and she took to it immediately. Now when we get in the car, I open my door, tell her to jump in, put my hand on the seat and she goes right to it. She no longer cries, has a great view, and is totally comfortable in it. We both love it.It is important to note the following: I purchased a harness that was recommended (Solvit Deluxe Car Safety Harness) which had an extender to hook to the harness and then around the seatbelt to secure her but also give her room to move and lay down if she wants to (and she does and is snug as a bug in a rug). I have the seatbelt that pulls from the side and is one piece covering my shoulder and waist. The bottom of the seatbelt goes through the bottom of the bucket booster and clicks into the side as one would normally do if sitting in the seat. The top of the seatbelt that would normally go over my shoulder is where the extender is connected on one end and the other end to her harness. It’s as perfect set up. When I hit the brakes, the seat doesnt move and neither does she! It’s actually funny because normally I would hit the brakes and we would both have a look like hold on!! The first time I did it, she had an interesting look like she was going to go flying, but didn’t. It was comical.The seat is totally worth the investment. I expect it to last a long time. Very Very Happy.

I have a booster seat that goes over the headrest and in the back seat of our Jeep for our 11 month old Jack Russell puppy. It works great, keeps her safe and allows her to look out the window. I wanted to buy a second seat for our other car so I did all the research, read all the reviews and finally settled on this K & H Manufacturing booster seat and I am so glad I did! Our puppy is 11 months old and about 14 lbs and is pretty much full grown. I picked the small size and it has worked out well. She is also able to sit in the front seat without setting off the airbag, which is a huge plus, as I would rather have her close if my husband is not riding with her. I liked the idea of a booster sitting directly on the seat as opposed to hanging over the headrest. It just seems safer and better supported. I had taken her in my car a couple times and could tell she was a little nervous as she has always ridden in a car seat. This is very easy to install. You just slide the car seat belt in to the slot at the bottom of the seat and buckle it in like normal. The booster completely fills the car seat. It is very soft with a lot of cushion. There are 2 attachments to hook on to your dogs harness or collar or leash. I guess one is for a second dog but if you don’t have a 2nd dog you can just tuck it under the cushion, which is very lush and soft and cushioned. I knew my pup loved it because about a minute after I put her in it, she layed down and went to sleep. I want my dog to be safe (#1), feel safe and be comfortable. This meets all 2 needs. It looks nice too, if that is on your list. After I posted a picture of it on Facebook, a friend commented that she had been looking at the same one for a while and so she immediately ordered one after she saw how happy I was with mine. Big dogs can obviously brace themselves against turns and stops, etc, but small dogs cannot. This keeps them stable and safe. I hook mine to the back clip on her harness because I feel like that is the most safe but there are a lot of ways you can clip them in. The added bonus is that your smaller dog can now see out the window, which also makes them feel safer, protects against car sickness, etc. I am VERY happy with this booster seat – it meets my safety criteria but my dog’s comfort. I have attached pictures. You can see that she has plenty of room to sit and turn and lay down. There is definitely room for a bigger dog than 14 lbs in there and if you read other reviews and look at the pictures and read the weight recommendations, you should be able to get a good idea of what size your dog needs. The pictures helped me a lot. Again, my puppy is 14 lbs and has plenty of room in the small. I believe manufacturer guidelines say a small is suitable for dogs up to 25 lbs if I am not mistaken. Great, great purchase. I am so happy with this.

Keeps pet and driver safe!
This is exactly what I have been looking for, as other products did not work to keep my excited, 17 lb. dog from jumping all around and distracting me as I drove. This seat is easy to put together and install, is well made and cushy comfortable for a smaller dog. I already had a harness, so attached the two adjustable security tethers, one to each side of the harness. This keeps her secure, but she is able to sit and lay down, and even put her nose partially on the open window ledge. I also added 2 scrap pieces of wood under the seat to raise it even a little more, about an inch higher, so my dog can see out the windows a little better (which is one of the reasons she used to jump around, trying to get a better view out).

Overall great product, just wish it was easier to get the seatbelt into the base to get it in and out easier, but there is no shortcut for that and would purchase it again.
