Pug Perfect
This was the perfect puzzle piece for our Pug to have as her sleep crate in the corner of our living room. Aside from the overwhelming pine wood smell and what seemed like fiberglass powder needing to be wiped off the crate with a damp rag it will work great for our girl. Sheâs 25lbs and this crate is great to be a more permanent furniture looking crate but can fold down when time comes to put the Christmas tree in this corner of the room. Minimal assembly as all youâd need to do is install the hardware latches and lid band but we only installed the latch since our pug wonât be trying to bust the roof off or anything dramatic and keeps the design more furniture cabinet looking rather than dog crate. The wood is not very high quality so be aware if youâre trying to fit a 40+ dog in here itâs likely to creak and wear quickly.

Crap
This crate is poorly made, arrived with big scratch on the top, and stinks. We ordered black, but it was more of a dark brown. Dull finish. Also had dried glue on the door. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Do not order from this company!

Excellent
First let me say it has a strong smell in thr beginning but oh so worth it. It is really good. I normally get the plastic for 39.99 then I buy the top 29.99 and a bottom 19.99. My dog is pregnant and want to give her a space that’s secure and away from my other dogs. This is absolutely perfect and stylish. I got the medium thank goodness I didn’t get the small. The complaint on the smell airing it out for a day is so worth it. It is so sturdy and nice looking too. My plastic ones are wider more room to play but for my purpose its a winner. When they get bigger I might get the large one. I like it that much. I still smell a hint of it but it is light so another day of airing out would be good before setting her in their but it looks like she’ll have her pups soon

Customer Service is great… had issues with product though…
We really loved this crate. It folds so nicely for travel and gives the dog a wonderful place in the hotel rooms that is secure. And when home we use it too. It really does look like a piece of furniture! The assembly is a piece of cake! So easy. And so easy to fold up and take with you. It did have a slight odor on arrival and some beading which we though was varnish or something. But we aired it out and the odor dissipated. We wiped it down as well and started using it. The dog loved it right away. The tray is very nice too and the door can be secured/locked if needed. The lid also lifts up so there are two ways to access—the door and the top! Wonderful design.Unfortunately there must have been more varnish or whatever it was than we realized because the dog started licking and then chewing at it in multiple place inside the crate on the wooden areas. Typically the dog is not a chewer, so we were very surprised that he was licking and chewing to the point of splinters showing. He did not get injured fortunately because we caught it early. We were so disappointed because we loved this thing! We contacted the customer service and they were so helpful. They refunded it right away. And we will be ordering another in the future; hopefully a different kind that does not have this varnish. They were professional and responsive. Even with the issue we were happy with the experience. Made in China.

Itâs not great but It works.
I live in a 300 sq foot studio so everything needs to have a purpose or multiple purposes in order for it to stay. I have a 60 pound Aussie who I kennel from time to time when people come over because he can be too excited. I hated the way his kennel looked because it just made my apartment look so cluttered. Iâve been eyeing furniture kennels for a while but theyâre always geared towards little dogs so I was excited to find this and it be big tall enough for him and the fact it folds for âeasy travelâ was a bonus. However it arrived today and the quality is not what I was expecting for the price. It feels very flimsy and it had a very strong odor. It made my tiny apartment smell like Home Depot. Iâve been airing out my apartment for 6 hours now and the smell still hasnât left. While the product itself feels cheaper it serves its purpose but if I knew what it was prior to buying it I donât think I would have bought it. I honestly wonât be using it to travel as it feels like it could fall apart any second. Iâll probably add stuff to make it completely stationary and more stable. Also you will need a screw driver or drill when setting this up. The locks and hinges are not attached so you have to do it yourself. The one perk is my dog was not hesitant to go inside and seems to really enjoy it. Itâs not as tall as I wish it was as he canât fully stand but itâs very close. Itâs big enough for him to turn around and sprawl out so thatâs all that really matters as he wonât be in it very often since he typically free roams.

Nicely made, beautiful and solid!
This is such a neat wooden crate, and the flexibility to be collapsible makes it super convenient! It seems very sturdy and was very easy to set up. Packaged well and the materials are all very nice. There was a SLIGHT stain smell to the wood when we opened it, but nothing that lasted longer than a day. During the set up, it appeared that the latch should be assembled at the top of the door, however after adding it there, we felt that it left the bottom easy to move, and a potential danger if our pup tried to escape. The door would gap enough for a small paw/leg, or worse their head if they were really determined to escape, to get stuck or pinched in the door…so we moved the latch to the middle of the door and it is MUCH more sturdy there! Definitely recommend adding the latch to the middle for safety and security!! Also, because it is collapsible, the top does not have a latch, so it could be pushed up and opened from inside if the pup was aware it opened and was adventurous. Could easily add a latch to secure it down. We also pulled the handles through so they werenât on the inside of the crate for the dog to chew on. Overall itâs a great crate! With us having a puppy, we made a few adaptations to suit our needs, and are going to add a latch to the top for peace of mind that she wonât try to push it open to escape while sheâs in the crate. So far she loves it, and itâs very nice!! Four paws up!!
