Our 9 lb Shih Tzu loved her new pet carrier with the squared porch. It fit perfectly on Southwest Airlines flights and we were able to open the porch. She panicked and tried to bite through the webbing but was unable to break through. The clip broke on the shoulder strap, only negative. Maybe the company will replace it??!

Roomy and Secure
This carrier has earned all 5 stars by housing our sweet girl kitty on a road trip from western Colorado to Boston Mass. We tried a cheaper soft sided carrier which she ripped & clawed on the first practice trip. This carrier allowed her so much room and the views of us driving gave her security. We will by flying with her next month and are confident she will be secure and comfy on the plane. The design is worth the higher price. Safe, secure, and reliable.

Great for Southwest Airlines
We bought this for a round trip flight with our cat from St Louis to NYC. It worked great and fit fine under the seats for our flights on Southwest Airlines.If sitting at a window seat, the long side can face forward. For the other two seats, the short side must face forward.We paid extra for the version that expanded on the side so that the cat would have a bit more comfort while waiting at the airports, etc.To get our cat used to the carrier, we took several local drives with our cat in it. She would meow from time to time in the car but we found that on the day of our flights she was totally quiet — probably due to such a new environment.We feel that the container was quality made and definitely worth the price. Without it, we would have had to leave the cat at a cattery which we didn’t want to do for this long trip.

Great carrier!
I loved this carrier! I flew with my dog on a domestic United flight in business class – 757 – and had just enough room to use the full side expansion under the seat in the middle section (with the top pushed down and not expanded). My puppy is a little big for the bag without the expansion – and I found the carrier to be strong and supportive and easily carried it on top of a Away carry on (with some extra grip to make sure he stayed stable). I think the carrier’s measurements are one inch wider than United recommends but I did not have any issues.

Our pets just got refused from the plane and now we are in a big mess because of these carriers! First of all, these carriers are NOT 17 x 11 x 9.5 or in cm: 43 x 28 x 24. They are actually (measuring the hard shell only, completely compressed, white piping to white piping) 45.5 x 30 x 26. With just the lid extended upwards it adds another 4-6 cm and also with the end popped out, another 2 cm. The airlines WILL ding you for this, and depending on the fluffiness of your pet, will also prevent you from flying, saying your pet is too ‘big’ for the kennel, even if the kennel Is soft and can be compressed to go under the seat. While it is unethical for the airlines such as Air Canada #AirCanada to sell tickets for their Boeing 787 flights for animals weighing over about 2kg who are any taller than about 4″ at the shoulders (ie puppies or kittens) considering the max height of the kennels for this aircraft is just over 7″, this carrier should not be advertised as an ‘airline approved carrier. Maybe a carrier for out and about, weekend trips, etc. But I would NEVER use it for flights, especially international ones, and ESPECIALLY from the UAE/DXB in particular. Good luck with your pet travels and much love. It’s a wonderful carrier, but should list the correct dimensions!!! <3
