Enrgticdg retractable dog leash for small to medium dogs.
The leash arrived today. The leash looks to be well made and sturdy. Attached the bag carrier the handle with a 1/8″ wide zip tie and took my 10-12 lb. chihuahua out for a walk to test the leash. The handle feels just as good as the old leash. The tension is good. Feeds out and retracts smoothly. when I applied the hold button it held the leash in place. The lock is smooth and locked and unlocked the leash without any problems. So far so good. Hope it lasts as long as the old retractable leash did. Seems to be a good leash at an affordable price.

Works fine for the price
Works fine so for the cheap price it’s okay. There is a ring on it to but clip on but it’s so flimsy a good strong dogs will break it. However for a mid size and smaller dog it’s great

10/16/24 – These are excellent leashes for small dogs. They are to replace our other 2 lwashes.. Our other leashes would always twist and you had to straighten the ribbon when trying to re-coil the tape. The ribbon on these unit, retracts very easy and smoothly. There are no issues with twisting on these what so ever ! In addition, the recoil spring on these units are very strong. The night reflection of the case is a real plus when walking your dogs at night.

Broke in 6 months
I bought this in June and went to use it last night and it was randomly jammed. I didnât drop it or anything. My dog is 5 pounds so itâs not from him pulling too hard or something like that. Very disappointing seeing as hardy and large it seems to be. I spent too much on this for it only to last 6 months. Lameâ¦.

This leash is the only one thus far that has stood the test of time. Easy to use, high quality, easy to lock, and as much as the dog pools, it stays nice and smooth.

Lasted for 4 months
The leash just went out today. It won’t go back in or come out anymore, so it’s stuck at about 15″ long. We had a retractable leash from Sierra Trading Post that lasted 5 years. I’m sure it would have lasted a lot longer, but the actual cord got stuck between two flat bricks and I couldn’t get it out, so I had to cut it. The retractable mechanism was always perfect.Then I ordered this leash. I noticed right out of the package the cord was not as think and I wondered if that would impact it. Sure enough, a couple weeks ago I noticed it was folding gradually. And now it’s stuck. Pretty sure it’s jammed inside because it’s folded inside. So now I need to find a good leash. I wish I wrote down the other leash brand before I threw it away. It was much better quality (and I actually paid the exact same amount for it from Sierra). I bought our other dog one from Walmart, and it seems to be in between the two leashes in quality. The cords need to be thicker or they bend. I don’t mean wider. I mean thicker. It was ok width. But I would not recommend. 4 months is ridiculous. Used about 3-4x/ week.
