First dog door ever
I have one of those screens that work great in the summer. They keep out bugs but split down the middle for the dogs to go in and out. I’m glad I started with that, so that using a dog door is easier and didn’t take long for them to figure it out (which is great since it’s FREEZING outside right now).I love this dog door and the three flaps. I think having that middle flap helps with the cold air coming in (or my heated air in the house going out). The template to install it makes it easy to figure out (even for someone with limited mechanical/tool knowledge like myself). I do worry a bit about the fasteners as they seem a bit cheap. But only time will tell on that. Overall, this is a great purchase for two dogs (Border Collie and German Shepherd). Although the German Shepherd likes to stand half in and half out… I need to figure out how to train him on that. lol. But the dog door works well and is going to be great so I don’t have to get up early in the morning, or worry about coming home late from work or wherever. Great purchase!

A Dog Door that Doesn’t Drive Me to Distraction
Okay, so let’s be real, I’ve gone through my share of dog doors. Some were flimsy, some were noisy, and some were just plain ugly. But this PETCOMING 3-Flap Dog Door? Seriously, where has this been all my life? From the minute I pulled it out of the box, I could tell it was different. It feels super sturdy, not like those cheap plastic ones that crack after a few months. Installation was surprisingly easy â even I could do it, and I’m not exactly known for my handyman skills. The three flaps are a brilliant design â they create a really good seal, so I’m not getting drafts or rain blowing in (a HUGE plus!). My dogs: a rambunctious yorkiepoo named Fizzgig, and a snooty chiweenie named Carasynthia, took to it right away. They were a little hesitant at first, but the flaps are clear and easy for them to push through. Now, they come and goes as they please, which means fewer “potty breaks” for me in the middle of the night! And the best part? It’s quiet. No more loud banging every time they go outside. Itâs a small thing, but it makes a world of difference. Honestly, this dog door has made my life so much easier. If you’re looking for a high-quality, well-designed dog door that actually works, look no further. This one’s a winner! Five stars from me and a happy tail wag from the puppers!

Great Door
I am teaching my dogs to use this door. It took me an afternoon to install it, but all of that was cutting the hole in my barn wall. This is well made. I will get Back an update the review after the dogs start using it on their own. Right now I have to call them to it and hold it open. The seal is pretty good, but not perfect. If this was into a heated space in my house, I might not consider it great. To let my dogs into the heated barn it is perfect. This is easy to install, but you have to know that youâre gonna have to cut a hole in your house or your garage or your barn. Once you get that done properly, screwing this thing up to the wall is a cinch. It comes with a nice and useful template for the wall. I couldnât really use the template because I was squeezing it into a space it wasnât meant for. The magnets at the bottom of the door doors reliably pull the doors back to straight down.I think the price is very reasonable and I think this is a very good value. Iâm giving it five stars and I will update that and this review as I discover more about the door.

Good quality dog door. 3 flaps for better insulation and fly control. Adjustable width.
I need to replace a 2 flap dog door recently and have been wanted to try this 3 flap design. We have an issue with flies in the summer, they want to come in from the 100+ degree weather. The 2 flap design worked okay but if one of the flaps didn’t quite close the flies would find their way in. The install on this is pretty straightforward if you have installed one previously. The frame is plastic so it won’t rust. I like that you can adjust the width depending on your install, door or wall. So far the 3rd flap provides much better insulation than just 2 flaps. I recommend this product, it’s a good value for the money.

If windy you need this one!
If it is windy where you live or you find your flap lightly blowing open you need to go to this type of door. The 3 door set up has really helped ours out. I also like that this cover slides in it is very sturdy. Our old one had a slide in door as well but the dogs could head but it in but they cannot with this one. Worth the money! Install use the template but would suggest replacing the plastic hardware with heavier duty Fastners but the hardware is still holding as well I just suspect will fail early.

Alot to like but also falls a bit short.
A lot to like about this unit. Though it just misses a few things.First off build quality is decent. Installation is somewhat straight forward.It is in two pieces and I suppose to reduce the shipping thickness the tunnel is separate and you have to align it.Normally not a huge issue. Though because of this separation You have to align these two almost perfectly.You cant use the tunnel itself to align the outside portion.It includes plastic screws which seem to be a short coming, But then again If someone were to break in they would just go through the door.The plastic pieces have been punched but the pieces haven’t been separated. There are multiple cases of plastic negative pieces still in the mold or box. You can see this in picture 3.The door is insulated on one side but there is a massive gap on b oth sides of the door.The magnet on the bottom keeps on sliding off. Though this is not a huge issue, I feel like it should have been fixed at the factory.Also the magnet doesn’t always come to the center so it leaves a gap.Overall I think this could be a great product with some revisions.Right now it could use alot of small improvements.
