Love how it retracts out of sight, leaving doorway wide open.
Needed to be able to block off kitchen from remainder of house to contain 4 dogs. To keep it sealed off when food is present or to keep dogs from tracking dirt through the house. Gate is easy to see through, not blocking view. It was easy to install and can be operated with one hand. The gate is made from sturdy metal uprights and plastic brackets that seem like they’d hold up with normal use. The mesh gate seems to be coated with a rubbery substance. Not sure how this will hold up through time. For now, this seems like a very good solution. Time will tell! I purchased the gray, which seems to be the best choice for visibility. Good value for money, in my book!

Perfect for keeping my dogs secure
We use this to help block our entryway and down our hall so 1, the dogs don’t run out the front door when opened and 2. can keep all our bedrooms safe from doggie accidents. We wound up buying a 2nd set of the brackets so we can have this swing in 2 different directions. The height is great for the little dogs that can jump over a regular doggie/ child gate. And so far they have not figured out to attempt to crawl under it.

Not great for cats.
Thought it would help when my cats get restless waiting for their food to keep them out of the kitchen but they just go under it. Shame. I’m sure others will find it useful but it just didn’t work for me. It was easy to install.

Great Gate & Excellent Customer Service!
I purchased this gate and installed it in my RV in back of my front seats so that I could keep my dog from going into the cab portion of the vehicle. The gate was extremely easy to install and is made of high quality materials. I made a mistake, however, when installing it and managed to damage the two latches – my error. I contacted the company and within two days replacement parts were sent to me at no charge even though I offered to pay for them! What great customer service and the gate is doing its job. I highly recommend this gate.

NOT for Cats but well build and quality product.
M cats crawl right under this thing even when it’s a 1/4″ from the floor and locked. I spent the last week trying to come up with ways to easily modify this but nothing keeps my cats from weasiling under it and escaping.Very well build gate for sure, but NOT for cats (or probably small dogs).Update: Seller graciously refunded the product! Again, well build and great customer service, just not for sneaky cats.

Better than expected! â¤ï¸ Perfect for larger dogs! Great price!
We purchased this gate to prevent our dogs from unsupervised access to certain areas of our home. The objective was to secure a 70â opening from a hallway into our living room. It is the perfect height/width. We have six German Shepherd Dogs. The majority averaging 90 pounds.Installation took roughly 20 minutes. A level is not a necessity. But we would recommend it. One could probably install it in 10 minutes, if your not using a level to check/double check placement of the hardware. The process is fast, with only basic tools required. We chose a screw gun. Although hand tools would have been just fine.We have been using it (pleasantly) for about a month. None of our dogs have âjumpedâ over, or crawled under the gate. Unfortunately with most of the other gates weâve purchased, including 48â tall metal gates, our dogs have jumped over, or eventually âbroken through! So far, so good, with this one! They havenât even tried.The locking mechanism is easy to use. When not in use, the gate neatly & discretely tucks away. The fact that you can see through the mesh, allows light to flow into the hallway. Which is pleasing to the eye, as compared to obstructive, and rigid metal or plastic gates.Overall, we are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this gate for dog owners!

Just don’t lean on it
I got this to keep my two large dogs from getting into an area. My dogs will jump up and paw at doors and windows, but they don’t at this gate for whatever reason. That’s a good thing because this won’t keep out anything that is sufficiently determined. So this is working for several months absolutely splendidly for me. I even got a second set of hooks to optionally close access to just the front room or the front room and the staircase depending on which set of hooks I attach to.Install is tricky but doable. You have to take a lot of care to make sure that everything is level and at exactly the same height. Otherwise it’ll be loose on top or bottom or be crooked. So just take your time and measure a lot.The variable height of the bottom bracket works great for floor mouldings. And the lock works fine to arrest both extension and retraction. It might prevent some gentle pushing by a baby or a small dog. The extra height compared to other gates is great.

It looks good, but my dogs figured out they could crawl under it in a few days. Not fit for purpose and quite expensive based on that fact.
