    Easy to install and use
Both dogs use it. They never used the others.

    It needs some adjusting
Works well but the flap is made of hard plastic and can be easy for the pet to get stuck under the flap if you push it down halfway it doesn’t open from the outside and if the dog try’s to get in anyway there head can get trapped underneath it and choke

  3. Danielle

Broken on first day-important part made of plastic
The door mountings hole (top and bottom) are broken on one side. This caused a gap in the doors and sometimes leaving one of the doors wide open when my dog used it. We ended up with ice inside of the room. I tried stuffing some plastic in the broken gaps temporarily. I can’t find any where to look for replacement parts.

  4. Ocie

    Doggy door
It performs as advertised and seems pretty tough..2 weeks in use.

This Medium door fits dogs perfect!
This door was super easy to install. I used an angle Grinder to cut the door. I fit both pieces of the dog door into the opening and siliconed the edges. The only screws holding the 2 pieces in the door actually screw into the inner foam insulation of the door. Foam insulation does not make a good anchor so I’m not sure how that will last long term. The dogs have already figured out how to use it. I would prop buy this one again.

    Looks Great
It fit perfectly, & I like the 2 flaps, one on inside & one on outside, it seems to not let cold air out or heat, because it stays closed better.

Better options in this price range
The color was nice, and if I were using it with a smaller dog and indoors, it would probably be okay. For my larger dogs (45 and 100lbs) and exterior use it wasn’t going to work out, especially given that there are currently much better options on Amazon in the same $40-$60 price range. The plastic is thin, as in, plastic blister packaging that’s thick enough to be hard to cut open but not so thick that you can’t easily poke through it with a nail.Magnets are small and weak. Held the door horizontally and the door fell open under its own weight. Door was also warped so the magnets didn’t meet their catch point at the same time which probably contributed to the issue. No weatherstripping meant I couldn’t use it outside without modifications. For the same price, I wound up returning this one to get one I could use with larger dogs in an exterior door.

    Needs quality control improvements
I was disappointed in this door for the following reasons1 The instructions say nothing about putting caulk in between the inner and outer frames, except for around the surfaces that meet the door. What is to keep water that may get on the frame from leaking down inside your door? I went back after the fact and caulked best I could around the bottom inner frame, looks like crap, but works (see photo)2 I like the saloon door style, but the magnets are worthless. A wind of about 10 miles an hour will hold the door open allowing all the winter cold air to come on in, granted this is on my shop door, and I heat with wood, but on a house I would not be happy about it. So I added magnets to the doors, so there is more resistance to opening in a wind. (see photo)3 The hinge on one door is in the wrong location on one side of the frame, holding the door away from the seal thus again, allowing an air gap to let in more cold air. (see photo)4 The doors stick against the frame in an open position with a change of weather. So if it starts to warm up, and she uses her door, it will catch against the top portion of the frame and hang open.I love my dog, and I wanted her to be able to get into the warm shop on the cold winter days when she is outside if she wants too. It only took a week of coaxing, to get her to use it on her own, she is a smart girl. So now I go out there and she is sometimes sleeping in the shop oblivious of all the intruders that have invaded her domain.Like I said, I do like the looks and style, but quality control needs a huge improvement for the money. Not like I can just remove it and move on, because there is a huge gaping hole in my door if I do.
