Great playpen enclosure for small dogs or other animals
I bought this to keep my pet duck corralled while I am at work. She sleeps inside at night but during the day she has a cage and I wanted to give her a bit of space to forage and spread her wings during the day. It comes ready to set up out of the box. Its normal shape is an octagon, but you can kinda work with it if you want a different shape. I attached it right to her outdoor pen with zip ties. I could easily see this working for a small dog, rabbit, chickens or the like. I’m really happy with it. Keep in mind, it is a play pen and does not have overhead protection. If you are using it for a small animal or poultry and you have flying predators, you may want to purchase some plastic mesh or something to place on top to prevent them from swooping down and getting your pet.

Amazing playpen for the price.
Since it was so cheap, i didnt have high expectations for this playpen but oh boy was i wrong. It was easy to setup as all the panels are already attached to each other.It comes with more than enough ground anchors to keep it nice and sturdy.Instructions were clear on what to do with all the other parts that ensure the playpen doent fall over or come apart.I bought this because the people that used to live at my apartment neglected the back patio and there was so much trash that my puppy kept trying to eat it and she kept getting distracted. Now she has a safe place to potty while I fix up my backyard.I am VERY satisfied with this purchase.

My dog is having surgery. This is her recovery pen. My only complaint it that the latches to open/close it require some strong arming. It is a good buy.

My puppy loves this playground.
I put Bella in the enclosure when I have to leave the house. I feel it is better than confining her to her sleeping cage for a long period of time. It allows her to stretch, play with her toys and whatever else she does while Iâm gone. I also put her and her food in the playground because it protects her food from the cats. And she will go into the playground when she wants to nap.

Works Great with My Dog Cage!
I bought this playpen to attach to my dogâs cage, and it worked out perfectly. It was easy to set up, and while it felt a little flimsy at first, once it was standing, it felt much more stable. My Goldendoodle loves it, and so do I! Great purchase!

nice size
I ended up buying two and can let my little old dog right out the door now. She is getting senile, has cataracts, and gets easily confused. This limits her and she can find her way back while still having room to sniff and turn and pick her spot. I put holding stakes here and there and it’s working well. Being old and a little senile myself, I’ve found that letting her into our large fenced yard, especially at night and in the snow, isn’t working. She panics and I’m too crippled to chase her. This new setup is perfect.

Low cost but with some compromises
A low cost option but the wire gauge is thinner than other brands so it tends to be floppy. At least compared to 2 others we have. As a result Amazon includes plastic connectors to better manage the space between the panels. The top wire on the panels is also a loop, not flat, so there’s an up and down, you can’t use the upside down like some other offers.I got this to create partitions between rooms or within a room so our dogs stay in the right area, those included plastic feet aren’t very useful for this use case, however it can stand by itself as long as you do a zig zag pattern for the panels.In the end, it’s a low cost solution and it works, but it’s not high quality. It’ll do it’s job until our puppy is old enough to be trusted then we’ll put it in storage until it’s needed again. Hopefully we won’t loose the plastic feet in that time.1 star off for the thinner gauge wire making it floppy/less sturdy1 star off for needing the plastic feet

Nice pen , i have an old one , super heavy to carry around , so i bought and used this one at the dog show , much lighter , held my dog easily , has clips to fold and store it . no issues .

Bought this playpen to create a safe area for our 9 week old beagle puppy. It’s a perfect size for him and would likely do well for most small to medium breeds while they’re young. It comes with stoppers for the corners and the walls, so it doesn’t drag against the floor, and it doesn’t mark up the flooring. However, our pup can still move the walls if he really tries. I’ve got around this issue by sort of “boxing in” the playpen area with some furniture. It’s also much sturdier if connected directly to a crate with the clips.I’ve purchased a larger, more expensive playpen for our previous puppy and it was much more flimsy, didn’t include the floor guards and the clips were poor quality. It was from a more well known brand that is sold at the big box pet store. This playpen is better quality, has stronger clips/attachments and is a better deal. However, it is deceptively heavy, so moving it room to room can be a nuisance. Overall, I am happy with this playpen and would recommend it.

I bought this to keep a puppy (which suddenly became two) away from the Christmas tree and it worked perfectly! Not too high, but not too low. I use it around the house now just to block off areas and even as a pseudo gate to my dining room since it folds up so easy and my dogs are small. You really canât go wrong with Amazon Basics stuff and this definitely is one of their better items for cost vs value.
