Works perfect, easy to install
We bought this gate so that our cats can get to their kitty box easily without the dog being able to get to the kitty box.We have an older cat who used to jump over a baby gate, but itâs getting harder and harder for him, so this is a perfect solution where he can just duck and walk right through the open door. You can adjust it quite high, but since we have a smaller size dog, we had to keep it low enough to keep her out but the cat still fits.Works perfectly for what itâs intended for, and it looks really good. It doesnât look flimsy or cheap. It actually goes well with the aesthetic.The latch works well and chances of a child being able to open it is unlikely. You can allow it to free swing back when closing and it latches very securely.Would definitely recommend.

Strong, stable, very nice finish
This is one of the nicer baby gates I’ve seen. Often they’re somewhat flimsy and the finish leaves a lot to be desired.This gate is the opposite: it’s strong, solid, stable, and the finish is very nice.Take care to follow the instructions and don’t cut the band near the latch until later. This section is part of the spring-action that keeps the gate in place and it’s much easier to install the gate if the band is still in place.The pet gate slides up and down and it stays in place by turning a locking mechanism. This works very well.

Very easy to install
This fit perfectly in my bathroom. I needed a place to put my dogs. When company came over. It fits like a glove. The installation was quite easy too. I just had to make sure that we did hit the stud when we were attaching it. It’s built extremely durable and well. It locks nicely and it looks very modern. This is an important safety feature that we have now in our home to keep people protected from my dogs.

The gate is easy to set up using its included pressure mounted hardware. No additional tools are needed. It has extensions which are easy to attach, allowing the gate to extend from 29â to 43â (exactly the width I needed). Once set up, the gate opens easily and auto-closes securely. The small cat door is just thatâ¦.only big enough for a normal size cat or a small puppy. The small pet door is easy to open, and can be left open if desired. One small issue I had with the gate is that thereâs a bar across the bottom, so with it mounted at the top of the stairs, the bottom bar can be a bit of a hazard when one goes up or down through the gate. My previous gate had a plastic threshold piece that snapped over the bottom bar, making it less likely to trip over it. It would be nice if this one was designed that way. But other than that, this is a really well made gate that looks aesthetically pleasing, and I especially recommend it for cats and small puppies.

Purrfect Solution for Four-Legged Friends
Keeps my dog at bay while the cat’s free to play. Love the auto close feature, works well. My cat could easily jump this but he’s lazy so the cat door is great for him. I only use it for the room where the cat litter box is. Our dog has free roam otherwise but this gate keeps him from getting the treats left behind by the cat. Also chose this because it pressure mounted and don’t have to drill holes in the wall. A lot easier to install as a result.

Decent gate
I own several baby gates and this is one is high quality. The things I look for are sturdiness and confidence of operating the latch and this gate earns its stars across each criteria.Please note this gate has a bar across the bottom, so it is not suitable for the top of stairs or elsewhere such an – albeit rare – tripping hazard would be particularly risky.
