Love this gate so much! I needed a gate for my cats litter box area and this is perfect! Keeps the dogs out but the cats have no issue getting through! I have mainecoon and Manx cats and I didnât think theyâd fit through it at first but they sure do!! It looks so nice because it hides the litter box and itâs very sturdy! Works perfectly for what I needed!! The lock for the gate is so easy to use unlike a different one I had bought from the pet store.

The dog door is divided in such a way that my big dog canât get through and yet my dog ââcan walk through it with ease this makes it easy for me to move between rooms without having to worry about the door being cut or pulled back after each season exchange. The operation can be completed with one hand, and is simple and easy, especially now that I have a little boy to look after. My dogs have been known to get more excited when they see something interesting on the other side of the fence; However, the door managed to withstand their excitement without showing signs of damage. Not tubby cat friendly, butâ¦
Purchased gate in white on May 9th, 2024.This gate works great but is not ideal for those with hefty cats. The size of the cat door is kind of small. My cat is probably around 20 pounds and can get through but does squeeze her a little going through. Only reason this isnât getting 5 stars!Itâs decently easy to use. The lock can be a little difficult to get a hang of but not bad. The gate can be opened and closed one handed but that can be harder for some. It does have kind of an intense retracting speed so we hold on to the gate handle and guide it back instead of just letting it retract back on its own.The gate must be locked to insure itâs sturdy enough for babies who lean on the gate. The base is easy to install and is quite sturdy on the wall.My dog doesnât try to jump or chew on the gate so I canât speak on durability against dogs who tend to be more destructive. If your dog just needs a barrier to stay out of areas then this will work perfectly.Overall very pleased with the purchase!

Easy install
This gate was easy to install. Perfect use for our cat to go through. Big enough hole for a large (16 pound) cat, small enough to not let our 12 month old through.

Good idea…but…
I bought this to keep the dog out of the cat litter but there’s one problem. The hole isn’t big enough for our cat to pass through. The cat isn’t big…isn’t fat..isn’t tall.Good idea but doesn’t work.
