    Attractive
I have this gate at the base of my stairway in my foyer. It is well-made, very attractive and it gets the job done. There is a gate which has a latch on the top making it easy to access. It also has two footings for stabilization.

    The Cats Can’t Escape
We are using these gates as ‘vestibules’ and ‘buffers’ to prevent the cats from escaping outside or into the garage. These were the only FREESTANDING, TALL, and AFFORDABLE gates with THIN SLOTS that our cats cannot get through or jump over. I searched through so, so, so many gates. These were the only ones I could genuinely see working for cats, dogs, and rabbits. We technically have not used them as room dividers though, so your experience might be different if the animal has constant access to the gate itself and might figure out some ways around it. For example, the gates are not the sturdiest (when bumped by humans at least) and had to be zip-tied to the stair rail even for our vestibule purposes. I saw a lot of people using these for dogs and would also recommend stabilizing them somehow because dogs and determined cats can both definitely figure out to push the corners. The gates can be positioned well. Just try to figure out how they will work in your house before buying them. If you actually take the time to do the measurements, and you don’t have a giant dog breed, I can almost guarantee you will feel 4-5 stars with this product. I wish they were cheaper because I needed a handful based on my measurements and needs (we’ve got a lot of risky doors), but I’ve seen this price go up and down +/- $5 so I imagine it’s just the fluctuations in the e-commerce economy. They’ve gotta make a buck with shipping something so large. If you live in an area you don’t trust, I would try to make sure someone can bring it in the house for you because it might resemble a flatscreen and tempt porch pirates. Nothing on the box label suggests that’s it’s ultra valuable; I just know how it can be.These gates are also simple and attractive. They really don’t have that ‘pet gate’ look about them like something for a basement or animal shelter. You can put these in the main part of your house, and it’s not unsightly at all. I wasn’t even thinking about that when I bought them, but it is a nice perk.

    Beautiful gate
This gate does the job. I just finished my enclosed back porch and I wanted a nice looking gate to keep the dogs off the side with the windows out (screens in), so they don’t go barreling out the screens. This gate is positioned so that the left and the right side are up against shelving and the gate is in the middle for access. The gate feels a little flimsy/wobbly, but so far it is doing the job. The gate is large (I purchased the one with two side panels and a gate in the middle) and it looks great. I like that it came with the feet because some of the others require you to purchase them separately. I use the feet for added support and they fit snug and fully touch the ground which keeps them from rocking.

    Sturdy and Safe
We bought this gate to enable us to enter and exit our spiral stair case easily. We have a very curious Yorkie and we want to keep her safe and off the stairs. The height of the latch is nice as you don’t have to bend over too far to unlatch.

    Versatile configurations
Pros: I purchased two 3-section gates to try and create a pen in an open floor plan for our 10 week old puppy. The gates can be easily configured many ways, look nice and the gate doors can be opened in or out. He is not yet able to knock it over. It rocks when he pushes on it, but stays standing.Cons: This is working okay now but the ends will have to be wedged between things once the dog gets older. He immediately learned how to get through by pushing the ends out or pulling the ends. I wish the hinges were more sturdy. We had to use a big rubber twist tie to keep him from pushing between the the gate sections. We also had to velcro one of the gate doors near the bottom because the puppy tried pushing his nose through the bottom corner when the gate was closed. He pushed it far enough to get his nose partly through but then the it moved back pinching his nose. He has not tried it again. This is good containment when someone is around to monitor. But when left alone, he goes into his crate.

    Perfect!
It’s very sturdy and strong. It’s tall enough to keep my larger dog inside. There’s a door to use so you don’t have to move it if you need to enter the room. The feet give it extra sturdiness. It’s heavy!! I can fold it up and put it away when I don’t need it.It’s not a permanent fixture. It’s just what I wanted!I’ve seen some that were much smaller & light weight that cost more than this one. So, good price!

    Not Worth the Cost
For how expensive this gate is, it is incredibly flimsy. If your dog wants to, they can easily push a side panel and get through the gate. We tried different configurations but it’s just not sturdy at all. I’m guessing it would work better on carpet or rug because it wouldn’t slide but it’s clearly advertised on hardwood flooring so pretty disappointing. I’d look elsewhere for a gate if you’re looking for your dog.
