Great for senior dogs, dogs with arthiritis, or mobility issues.
My little girl has patellar luxating or “floating kneecap” and has trouble going up to her pet bed and then the our bed. She used to be able to just need a 2 step pet stair, but age became a factor and it became harder for her.So we made the switch to a ramp instead. Having short legs, she would need to jump onto the first step and then quickly jump onto the following. Being much older now, it became hard for her and so she would become stuck between steps, unable to have enough strength to go up. Back legs would shake. Now she sprints up the ramp with her front legs doing most of the work and her back legs just kind of hanging on to get a grip. It was such a better change for her, and now she just needs to jump up one step, from her pet bed to the bed. I recommend this product, especially because it can go as low as 10 inches!**UPDATE**Officially used on October 19, 2020 and now updating it 3/22/22.So the ramps still great, however, the carpet is finished. Theres two holes in it and it’s all scratched up where my dog can’t hold a grip anymore. I am updating this review because BIRDROCK HOME does not have, or does not know how, to get me a replacement carpet. I called, chatted online, and searched online and local carpet stores. Nothing. Instead of giving up, I purchased a replacement carpet for a different type of ramp from Alpha Paw. They are replacement carpet attached to thick enough plywood for their type of ramps. The carpet alone measures 12″ width and 32ish length, with plywood on the side of each carpet being a half inch on each.As you see above, BIRDROCK’S Ramp depth has just enough space to fit the plywood into the ramp, but leaving a tiny bit of plywood exposed, but since my dog just goes straight up and doesn’t try to grab onto the sides if it slips it does not matter. Even if that were to happen, you can glue on part of the old carpet from BIRDROCK, on the sides if you worry your pet may get a splinter. Now what I did to install this was not that hard.As shown above, I ended measuring the back parts of the ramp and decided to cut those pieces of plywood off so I can wrap around the back of the ramp and leave the plywood on to give this carpet more stability. I also did that because what I ended up finding out is that if I were to have taken it off the plywood, all together, the carpet would not stay steady because it is not the original carpet. This carpet is thicker. It’s longer but it still worked out. Which is great.Okay so…What you’ll need to pull this off are…A) Buy alpha pay – ScratchyRamp Replacement CarpetB) Measuring tapeC) Longer screwsD) MarkerE) Knife (I used a trimmer knife to be careful)F) Small Drill bitG) Maybe a cordless drillG) PatienceSteps when you receive your carpet replacement and taken off the BIRDROCK carpet…Step 1) Measure the carpet and mark the length of the wrap around piecesStep 2) Take a knife and cut towards the plywood where the wrap around pieces are going to be. Be careful and take your time because you can easily cut into the carpet and ruin it. So cutting towards the plywood and even having tiny bits of plywood attached to the carpet is fine because you can tare them off easily. The glue used to attach the wood to the carpet is not everywhere.Step 3) Cut the plywood where you measure before and where you cut the carpet off.Step 4) Be sure to clean off the ramp once the carpets off because it is super dustyStep 4) Center the carpet where the holes for the screws are and take a drill and make a tiny hole in the carpet where the screws will goStep 5) After having the carpet centered, measured and made the holes where the screws go, put the screw plate on top and tighten the screw onto the new carpet. Do not tighten it all the way because the screw plate is made out of wood so if too much force is applied then it shatters it.I included photos above to help you guys out. Hope it worked for you as it did for me! 🙂

Litter Robot 3 access for tripaw cat
This fits right to the top of the entrance for our tripaw cat.. He doesn’t have to jump on the Litter Robot steps..is easy access to go to the very top which, by the way, the litter robot steps don’t even do that! Very nicely made, doesn’t slip on the tile and is VERY sturday. Our cat is about 16 lbs..and has no problem with it.

Nice piece – training cat more difficult.
Have an older cat that is skittish on climbing up.

Cheap! Not worth the money. Poor quality.

Dachshund Dad Review.
I bought this to ramp train my dachshund puppy, so this review will pertain to small dog breeds/puppies! ð â¼ï¸long dog owners pls readâ¼ï¸I want to first state it comes fully assembled and pops up and down with ease. It locks into place well and have never had it collapse. The grip like texture is a nice touch! Aesthetic is pleasing too!Itâs great for low surfaces. I have a relatively low to the floor bed/bed frame, so it works well for that. But for couches itâs pretty steep, if this ramp was like a foot longer it would probably be better, but that also means you need more space ð¤·ââï¸ The only reason I complain about the steepness is because I have to care for my dogs back since sheâs so long, and on those steep inclines my pup tends to jump off half way down since sheâs coming down at a sharp angle. Iâve tried training her to go down all the way but I def see her discomfort going down to the bottom in those cases.Going up the ramp is not a problem EVER. The material on the ramp really helps climbing, my puppy really had to use her nails at first with big inclines, but less so now.Unless you have low furnishings like your bed and couches, I wouldnât recommend this for long dog(corgis/dachshunds and such) owners. The angle of impact is important for their backs and I feel like this is still pretty sharply inclined if your furniture isnât low to the ground. Definitely get a longer version if you find one.TLDR;1. Easy to use comes fully assembled.2. Itâs a bit short in length.3. Tall furnishings make the ramp pretty steep.4. I wouldnât recommend this for long dog backs unless you need it for a low surface.5. The material on the ramp is great grip for puppies to train on.
