Excellent
This was recommended to me by pups vet. I was told to lean them off bones as they are getting there in years and to try this as they are both big on chewing. Both my dogs love them. I don’t know if it’s a texture thing for them or if it simply tastes good to them. I can confirm that it doesn’t smell horrible. Normally a dental stick doesn’t last either of my dogs any time at all. This both functions like a dental stick and a chewing bone. My dogs have no issue digesting the chew. My main worry is how they will react after eating something new, but I can say that they had no issues. It is a bit more money wise than the other types of dental sticks, but they are woth it in the long run.

Keeps your dogs teeth cleaner
I’ve been using these for years. I like that they are “molded” so they reduce the chance of my toy breed dog from choking. These chews, along with regular dental check ups, has helped my pup keep all his teeth, even as a senior.

Vet approved and a regular snack for our dogs
I learned about these several years back when one of our dogs got these at the vet for his teeth. I own larger dogs, 50+ lbs., and have used these religiously (auto subscription) for years. The dogs love them and it’s a special treat when we put them in their kennels. The vet has never mentioned they need teeth cleanings in the years since we’ve been using them. Highly recommend.

A real chew, but quality varies
The good:I have a big Lab, a small mixed breed momma and her two mixed breed rat terrier pups. I started giving them these chews years ago when my vet stocked them. (I like to support local businesses). But, I guess she was influenced by the advice of many to not give rawhide chews to dogs, and began to stock another product. That product was also labeled as a chew, but it was so quickly devoured, it’s a treat, not a chew. So Amazon is my source now.Our daily routine is to make a morning walk for exercise, return home for their breakfast and then a chew to clean their teeth and satisfy the need to gnaw something. It’s not uncommon for them to act more excited about getting their chew than their food! The lab gets a whole chew, each of the pups get 1/2 of a chew, and the momma being the smallest gets 1/3 of a chew. I use gardening shears to cut the chews.I do believe the advice that dogs benefit from having clean teeth, but I’m not one to try to brush their teeth, so I rely on the chews for cleaning. All four receive annual checkups with our vet, and rarely does she see the need for her to clean their teeth, and I attribute that to these chews. The not so good:Other than my Lab having a part of a chew lodge in the top of her mouth, they’ve never experienced problems by getting this chew every day. But my major concern preventing me from awarding 5 stars is there is too much variability of thickness of their chews. I compensate by giving the hefty ones to the Lab. I cut the thinner ones for the pups and their momma. Even though the package states the total weight of the chews, given that the number of chews rarely varies, then the weight cannot be trusted as being accurate.Summary:This is an effective and enjoyable chew for my sweet dogs. Until I can find a better product, I will continue using this one. (My dogs are smiling and totally agree with this review!)

Expensive but worth it!
I’ve been feeding both of my toy breed dogs these chew strips since they were pups. Toy breed dogs are notorious for oral health issues with their tiny teeth. These strips, along with daily brushing, keep the dental bills away! The girls love them and wait every morning at 11 am, by the chew strip canister.

Dog loves them and good for her teeth!
I’ve been giving my dog these chews for years. She loves them and I appreciate that it can help with her dental health as well.

HAZARDâ¦formed compact solid chunk, blocked off circumference of my pugs airway
The Chews are very dangerous, they donât dissolve (not even in chunks or pieces), severe choking hazard. My pug had been chewing on it constantly for over an hour. Sheâd chew it for a bit and then spit it out for a few then start chewing on it again. I thought she was just taking her time to enjoy it. Turns out it was not very chewable and got wadded up into a small condensed rock hard chunk. So she tried to swallow the whole chunk since it wouldnât soften up or break apart. She rapidly started struggling to breathe. I quickly jammed my fingers down her throat and dug it out. She would have suffocated and died if I hadnât been able to reach it. Sheâs a Pug and already has breathing & pallet difficulties. The description when purchasing a single bag markets the item form as: CHEWABLES, single layer for easier digestion. The 3 pack markets the item form as: WAFERS, gulping whole chews reduce efficacy, âcan beâ harmful for dogs. Mentions nothing about possible choking hazard or even recommending supervision when the dog is chewing on it. My dogs have an obsession with chewing kongs, toys, antlers, sticks and even rocks. Never had any issues swallowing or gulping items down. They prefer to suck on it and carry it in their mouth wherever they go. I rarely purchase any type or form of rawhide due to a possible choking hazard. I read the reviews and that they are #1 with Vets for dental hygiene. I read several different descriptions and packages, didnât see anything about possible choking hazard. It mentions if swallowed whole it reduces the efficacy and CAN be harmful to your dog. The way itâs worded gives the impression that if swallowed whole it might make your dog sick due to ingesting the abrasive dual enzyme system all at onceâ¦. Especially if you need to wash hands after handling it. No issues with the first couple of chews. But most of them were unable to be chewable and didnât really breakdown/soften or pull apart so I would throw them out. I have seen many dogs attempt to swallow them whole, usually by softening it first. I had never witnessed or heard of a âchewâ that folded up into a small rock solid rawhide. I was unfortunately unaware that was a possibility, I was monitoring them to make sure that when it was softened up they wouldnât try to swallow the entire thing at once, like the package warned about. I heard her struggling to breathe so I tried immediately reached in her mouth trying to feel a huge soft long piece of rawhide. Couldnât feel anything. Took my fingers out and she still couldnât take a breath. So I reached as far down her throat as I could making a scooping motion with one finger to find what was blocking her airways. After pulling her tongue forward with my free hand I finally found the issue. Absolutely horrified that something could become so compact and flat with rugged edges that it could get stuck and block the circumference of her esophagus. Please clarify on your packaging and descriptions that it is VERY important to NEVER leave your dog unattended chewing any type of raw hide.

My dogs love these dental chews.

My dog loves these treats! Iâve purchased three bags already from this seller and they have been delivered free next day (prime member). The price is reasonable and are on sale right now! If you are looking for a healthy chewy for your dog that is Vet approved look no further. Other family members who have a dog steered me to this product. I canât tell you how happy my dog is when he gets his daily chewy. He literally will get up on his back legs and dance around me until I hand it over to him! Great product, great price, and great service!

Not returnable, Probably my fault. I bought them for my 3 month old lab and found them not suitable. Now I’m stuck with them
