Very helpful for Training for the CGC Exam
Great addition to training books, with detailed instructions for each part of the Canine Good Citizen Exam. My little guy passed the first time, but he also has attended an AKC certified training program for a year, since he was 4 months. This book is great for focused training for the test.

This is a must have book if you have a golden retriever. This book is your bible to understand and care for your dog. So glad I purchased this. I understand my puppy and it is easier to train her to be my service dog

I bought this book to work with my pup on her CGC. It has good advice on how to train your dog to be able to pass the test with good progressions on teaching the skills. I am happy with the book.

Dog Training
Excellent recommendations for owners or big and small dogs. You never know when life will pop up and cause you to move house. Itâs so much better when you can physically show a leasing agent or even a family member you might need to live with that your dog is well mannered and if he has title to show it even better. Pet ownership begins with you. You are responsible for teaching your dog good manners.

I am a CGC Evaluator and instructor – this book was not worth reading. I believe there’s a more updated version but I’m done buying AKC books based on this one.
