    It Works
This was a difficult install because my door is steel and foam filled. I was worried a jig saw or saw all would catch and tear it up so I used my Dremel with a metal cutting disc or four of them. Once I got the opening done the door mounted right up and the door works well. The magnets pull it right down into place after use.

Cats in Heaven, Owners happy to close Basement door!
Easy to install, works great, we have litter boxes in basement, and had to keep door ajar which created huge drafts. Problem Solved. Good price, easy install. Anybody can do it. ENjoy!(≈චᆽච≈)

    Almost perfect.
After 6 months my cats have managed to unhinge/break the door so it is taped closed. Idk if I have to order a whole new one or if I can get a new door but the problem is t the door. It’s the tiny pieces that hold it in place. Those are broken off. Any advice?

Great product! Large enough for obese cat.
This is our second purchase of this same cat door. We haven’t installed this one yet, but the other was purchased and installed in 2021 and is still in great shape. It is nice to have the ability to lock it if you need to. One of the cats is obese and has no difficulty with the door. We have been happy with the one we installed on a garage and we have ordered this one for an outbuilding (so the cats can hopefully keep the mice out of our storage items).

    Great
I installed the kitty door for the customer today.. very easy to install and looked nice.. if I had to say anything negative it would be that it didn’t come with a template like all the doggie doors I’ve done.. good product

    So well made!
We adopted a 10 old cat that is ‘full figured’ so I ordered/ installed an appropriate ‘dog’ size door. It all went well (but I wish there would have been an extra ‘tunnel’ kit because our location had to be through a 6” wide wall with outside siding on one side and standard drywall on inside and had to finish the ‘tunnel’ with wood sides which added A LOT of meticulous cut/ try & repeats! Turned out well in the end.BUT… the bottom magnet strength on the hanging swing door was way too strong for even out adult cat to open. She just felt it was ‘locked’ no matter how many times I layed on the floor in ‘training exercises’ given it a little initial push… which she would immediately go on though… but never got that she need to push a lot harder initially to free the short but strong initial magnetic force. What are cat schools teaching?Anyway I removed one of the lower magnets and it was still too strong holding force. Finally removed the second magnet and now she had no issue! But still after two months is cautious in opening/ passsge going through. I experimented last week putting one magnet back… AND IT WAS A NO GO AGAIN. So we’re back to no bottom magnets and Isabella (Izzy) comes and goes (still cautiously as she likes.Forgot the mention this is only to access a large screened in porch area so no issues with other critters getting inn with easier access. And also should mention no issues with even gusty winds conditions pushing the door open w/o any magnets because of the excellent ‘hairs’ that are used to make the swing door ‘air-tight’.

Works pretty well, but is fairly drafty
I like this product, but it’s far from perfect. We live in a small space (37ft camper), and ended up putting it next to the front door because that’s where it fits. Well, it opens and closes whenever the door opens and closes (something to do with the pressure I think, I’m not sure). It’s also just super drafty even when it’s closed and rainwater leaks through it. My elderly cat loves sitting in front of it like it’s her own personal window though, which I think is great, and I like the ability to lock it and stuff. Cat still prefers to go out the open human door, but she does seem able to open and close this cat door by herself alright. The locking mechanism is plastic and small, and I feel that in general, although this brought a lot of value to our lives, it’s really not a particularly sturdy or well-made product.

    Kitty loves his door
We bought two of these so the cat can access the catio in the yard. The flap works well, and we used one on each end of a short tunnel to the outdoor catio. The cat easily gets into the tunnel from his cat tree and can enjoy his catio. The cat door is the perfect size for a basement window and my fairly big cat.

  9. Jorge A Rodríguez Castro

  10. Maggs

Absolutely love this little door. Our 10.5 lb chihuahua took to it immediately. He loves the fact that he can go out in the yard when he feels like it. We put it in our deck wall, so we had to improvise a bit. Sometimes the door doesn’t close completely, but that’s most likely our doing. The door worked perfectly before our installation. The clear window is fantastic for our chihuahua to view what’s happening outside. It definitely helps keep the bugs out!
