Best poodle brush around.
If your poodle has any length to her/his hair then you need the black handled one. Can get away with only brushing a couple times a week with this brush. Not sure about the ergonomically correct handle as I have arthritis in my hands and sometimes it’s hard for me to hold onto. Removes tangles great though. Would recommend and have bought a second so I have one upstairs and one downstairs. Expensive but worth the money.

The Rolls Royce of Slicker BrushesâWorth Every Penny!
I have a 100lb Black Russian Terrier with a thick, long double coatâbasically a walking, barking, shaggy black bear. Brushing her is a full-time job, and I used to think my $20 slicker brush was doing okay. Then I saw this brush. I balked at the price and thought, How much better could it really be?Answer: A LOT better. This brush is hands-down the best slicker Iâve ever used. It glides through mats that used to require a full-on wrestling match with a dematting comb. It’s way more gentle, and instead of leaving my dog’s coat looking like she lost a fight with a static balloon, it comes out soft, fluffy, and show-dog ready.Durability? The brush itself is holding up like a champ, though the rubberized coating is starting to peel in one spot. But honestly, if that’s the extent of the wear with near daily use, thatâs saying something.Bottom line: If you have a fluffy beast, do yourself (and your dog) a favorâget this brush. Your arms, your sanity, and your dog’s luxurious coat will thank you.

Good for long hair & double coats
I hesitated purchasing such expensive brush, plus so many types to choose from. But this is a uniquely effective brush that works very well on my double coat American Eskimo (Spitz). Really good for defatting but not pulling so hard it bothers her.

If you have thick fur Doodles – this is it!!
When I first saw the brush on a grooming YouTuber channel (Girl with the Dogs), I looked this up and I was astounded by the price tag. Was this made of gold? Was it self cleaning? Did it come with a groomer who used it? I scoffed and moved along.A few months ago, I rescued a Goldendoodle with the thickest, curliest fur. On top of that, I already had a bigger Goldendoodle with coarse, thick hair. Iâve bought five brushes and all of them had a problem – weak bristles, handle discomfort, difficult cleaning, etc.I finally caved and bought this brush. I now see why itâs preferred by groomers and the price tag. The quality is awesome. Bristles are strong and flexible and do not warp, the handle is comfortable, and the brush itself has some heft to it so you donât have to put more effort into getting the brush through the fur. My fiancé scoffed and said, âyou bought a 75 dollar brush – wtf??? This better work.â He usually brushes them as his quality time the dogs and he immediately ate his words. He was impressed; with other brushes he would have to make several passes in different directions to get somewhere. This brush made immense progress in two swipes. He was shocked and the best part is that both my dogs love this and they were clamoring for their turn. It removed a good amount of undercoat, loose fur, debris from the dog park, and it left their coats super smooth and soft to the touch. If you have Doodles, go get this brush. Game changer.

Best brush for double coated samoyed
I have used the brush for three months now and although the price tag is high, I am glad I bought it, it’s worth it. It works incredibly well for my double coated Samoyed. He hates brushing, but this brush he can tolerate. It is very efficient at getting through the think undercoat. The brush is well made and it still looks like on the first day of use, so great quality.

Best Slicker Brush
I have been grooming for years and this is the best . I have a Newfie and it saves so much time – it is the only slicker I found that has long enough bristles to penetrate double coated dogs

Brush is wonderful.
I’m a professional groomer of 30 plus years. I wish I’d purchased this brush years ago. It seemed a bit pricey that is why I did not. I just couldn’t justify spending so much on a brush. However after using this brush for a few days in my shop I am kicking myself for not buying it a long time ago. It would have saved me so much time and pain. It really does remove undercoat and mats so much faster and easier than any brush I have used in the past. I would give 5 stars but I have to take a star because it still seems a bit pricey though. I hope it holds up for a long time. I also need to add that the dogs seem to have a lot less discomfort with being brushed with this brush too. So, that is worth the money.

Ends of wires are bent at the right angle, also finished with roundwd ends so no tearing when you brush. Does a good job the first time. Doesnt make my dog like it any better but takes less time to get things done.

Great at brushing out the thick bibs and haunches on my St. Bernard and my Great Pyrenees.Removed a ton of dead loose hair.I use it for grooming day, and default back to a cheap everyday slicker brush for daily brushingPricey but does a great job. I would recommend it
