east to understand and put into action
I was going to return this, but kept it and was glad I did. It is suchh an easy book to understand and has step by step instructions. Everything we are working on with this book has made a quick difference. The issue wasn’t the book, it was the fact that we needed a louder clicker.

Works – I just need more training
My 2 year old GSD is a pandemic puppy and didnât get the socializing she should have and itâs just now manifesting. Daycare doesnât work as they feel she is overwhelmed by the dogs and staff and suggested a break and training. This is a good product and we have mastered sit and working on more. Any defects of this not working will definitely be more on me as I am older and probably need more training myself.

Easy to understand
Using the âclickerâ style training is so easy because your dog sees this as a game. Iâve tried numerous techniques i.e. dog collars, horns, treats, etc. and nothing was working. Iâm glad I found this book!

Print is not very good
I just skimmed the book and think the training ideas are good so far, but my print was terrible to look at…. every second /third page had a double print, very blurry… I will send it back as it was very uncomfortable to look over even briefly….

Easy to read and clear in instruction
Wonderful book for first time dog owners as well as experienced ones who need a refresher. The author is clear and concise in her directions for each lesson. One of the best books out there on puppy/dog training.

Engaging book
My only criticism of this book is that it does not explain when to substitute ‘marker words’ for the clicker.If you’re teaching your dog to ‘sit’, say, when do you stop clicking when he or she sits & start saying ‘sit’.This is my only criticism but it is an important and serious one.
